What should I add to this photo? Couldn't it be more fun after a nice walk through the nearby forest?

Can you picture it? Would you like a delicious breakfast at the large table with 6 chairs? View of the garden with the birds? Guests have seen a squirrel (December 2019) but I myself have not yet. I know they are there so come and see for yourself!

All kinds of birds in the garden. This young great spotted woodpecker also found the garden in May 2020.

Nice relax chairs on the terrace next to the patio door. You can walk straight into the garden from the room.

Dining together, playing games or reading

Nice living room with patio doors to the garden and a large table of 2.20 m with 6 chairs. Great to play a game!

Nice cooking in the kitchen. We have good pans in all shapes and sizes and even a steam pan. You can cook on an electric hob. Furthermore, the basic things are available such as salt and pepper, spices, kitchen rolls etc. Kitchen linen is also ready for you.

This photo shows a piece of the front garden (May 2020). In the summer the Hydrangeas bloom beautifully! In the spring the large Rhododendron. This is how it is beautiful every season.

The smaller bedroom on the ground floor has a comfortable box spring. The beds are of course made when you come! There is also a wardrobe in the downstairs bedroom.

A cot (Bopita) can be placed in the large bedroom, but this can also be placed in the smaller room upstairs. There is a large comfortable box spring and a cozy seat. In the photo the bed is made up as 2 single beds. A 3rd bed can be added on request

The large upstairs bedroom of 30m2 is spacious and cozy. There is a good box spring that can also be made up as 2 separate beds as in this photo. There is also a seat.

The bathroom was installed at the end of October 2019. There is a nice bathtub with a separate shower area with rain shower and hand shower. Of course also a large radiator so that it is comfortably warm. There is a separate toilet, so handy with more family members in the house!

Time to relax! Grab a nice drink and some snacks, because chances are you'll want to spend hours in the bath.

The cottage has a living room with cozy sitting area and dining area.

The forest cottage has a large, fenced garden where you can enjoy the singing birds

If desired, a baby cot can be placed in bedroom 1.

You can also sit in the garden in the evening with mood lighting. Or in the hot tub under the stars.

The new kitchen from 2025 is well equipped with a dishwasher, gas hob, spacious fridge-freezer. Coffee and tea are included. Tea towels and dishwasher cubes are provided.

Crockery, pans, pots, everything is there for a wonderful stay.

The cottage has two bedrooms. One room with two single beds (90x200). The single beds are pushed together as standard.

Living room with TV for your favorite series and WIFI

Enough closet and storage space for personal items.

Bedroom 2 has a double bed (140x200). The beds are made on arrival.

Both bedrooms have enough space to store clothes and other items. If desired, a baby cot can be placed.

The neat bathroom has a walk-in shower and sink. Towels are provided for you in the bedroom.

Plenty of shade and sun spots in the spacious, fenced garden.

In the spacious garden there is a wood-fired hot tub. In the house there is enough wood to heat the hot tub 1 time.

In the surrounding garden you can lounge on the chairs. There is also a picnic table. Under the trees is the wood-fired hot tub with atmospheric lighting.

Holiday homes on the Veluwe

The Veluwe: one of the best known natural areas in the Netherlands. The Veluwe is centrally located in the province of Gelderland and is also the largest natural area of the country covering over 90,000 hectares. The famous De Hoge Veluwe National Park is situated in the south west of the Veluwe and covers only one twentieth of the entire area, which is nevertheless full of beautiful nature.

Your holiday home as a base for activities

If you love walking or cycling, then you’ve come to the right place. This lovely natural area offers many paths and trails, and if you are after spotting wild animals, this is your opportunity to see deer, roe deer and wild boar. You could even find yourself face-to-face with a wolf! This predator has been spotted regularly over the past few years. If you’re ready for a spot of culture, then make your way to the Kröller-Müller Museum. This museum is well worth a visit for both its indoor and outdoor displays and is located in De Hoge Veluwe National Park. There are many attractive villages and towns nearby, including Beekbergen, Putten, Epe and Ermelo. All in all, there is plenty to see and do using your holiday home on the Veluwe as your base.

Large parts of the Veluwe consist of lateral moraines: landmasses that were formed by the movement of the ice that then covered parts of Europe. These features were created in the last-but-one Ice Age, the Saalien era, around 150,000 years ago.
In 2019, wolves were spotted once again on the Veluwe, for the first time in around 150 years.
With only 15.2 inhabitants per km², the Veluwe is exceptionally sparsely populated by Dutch standards.
