Our house
Our holiday home with 3 bedrooms in farmhouse style with thatched roof is quietly located and fully equipped for a dream holiday in the Veluwe. The house has a habitable surface of 130 m2 with a garden of 400 m2 with nice terrace and large barn. Plenty of space for a wonderful holiday. Of course, the house is equipped with central heating so that it is also comfortably warm in winter!
Everything has been thought of: cozy living room with fireplace to sit by. An open kitchen with a large dining table (2.20 meters) and 6 chairs for dining, playing games or reading a book. From the table you have a view of the garden and all the birds that come to eat and bathe. Through the patio door you can go directly outside to have breakfast on the terrace or drink coffee at the table with comfortable chairs. In the cupboard in the living room there are various fun games and DVDs for drizzly days. Of course, there is also a smart TV with free Netflix.
The kitchen is furnished with everything you could wish for. Dishwasher, good pans, mixer, toaster, juicer, dolce gusto coffee machine, kettle, full cutlery and knife set. Beautiful crockery and glasses to set the table nicely. You cook electrically on a 4-burner stove. There is also an oven and large fridge.
A large size combi microwave oven and freezer with 2 drawers can be found in the utility room. The utility room has a separate side entrance. The washing machine is also located in the utility room.
On the ground floor a bedroom with a lovely box spring of 160x200 with fine bedding. The beds are all made when you come.
Also on the ground floor is the bathroom with bath/(rain) shower and hand shower, and a wide sink with mixer tap. There is a separate toilet.
In the hall you will find the stairs to the first floor and the coat rack with enough space for coats and shoes. The stairs are fairly steep but made safe with anti-slip strips and handrail. Of course there is a good stair gate for the children on request.
On the first floor two bedrooms and the landing with plenty of closet space where you can find extra pillows and blankets. The largest bedroom (35 m2) has a comfortable box spring of 180x200. This bed can be made up as 2 single beds. In this bedroom you will also find a cozy sitting area. An extra bed can be placed in the master bedroom on request. The other bedroom is a bit smaller with a 1 person bed. Optionally, the bed can also be extended to a double bed on request. A cot can be made in one of the two rooms (or both).
The garden
Outside it is also lovely on the terrace with privacy, comfortable chairs and table. The garden is 400m2 in size. There is also a large lockable shed for bicycles where electric bicycles can also be charged. We have many birds that come to eat daily (also in summer) or show their young (great spotted woodpecker, nuthatches). The squirrel now also shows itself and comes to feast on the peanuts.
Comfortable luxury
In short, everything has been thought of for a dream holiday in the Veluwe. Everything is ready when you come: made beds, kitchen linen and towels. Kitchen is complete: pepper, salt, spices, sugar but also kitchen rolls, aluminum foil. So you can start the holiday right away!
Children
The little ones have also been thought of. There is a cot, baby bath, toys, stair gate, children's cutlery and crockery, play mat and high chair(s) available on request.
Pets
Due to possible allergies, we do not allow pets (anymore)
Horses
Guests with horses are also welcome! We work together with stables 1,500 meters away where you can stable your horse. Feeding and fattening are done daily. Ask for information before booking!
Surroundings
Of course it is wonderful to stay in and around the house but the surroundings are beautiful. Forests, heathland, sand drifts, polder landscape and water. There is really a lot to do. Cycling and walking on beautiful routes can be done right from the house and 2500 meters away you can do water sports and everything can be rented for it (kayaks, canoe, SUP board). Beautiful Hanseatic towns such as Elburg, Harderwijk and Hattem can also be visited within a short distance. Nunspeet is also very cozy with a wide range of shops and restaurants. Moreover, there are all kinds of attractions for young and old nearby. It is possible to rent bicycles (from ATM to tandem or cargo bike). These are then ready in the shed.
