The house has a spacious living room with a view over the water and at the back you have a view of the woods. It has 1 bedroom with shower on the ground floor and a separate wc. So if you are a little less mobile, then this is the right home.
If you plan to bring bicycles, you can park them in the garage and your car in our private parking lot.
The house is within walking distance of the picturesque city of Wijk bij Duurstede. This fortified town is located directly on the water with its beautiful castle, mill and dikes. It offers several cozy terraces, among others. At the city wall where you have a beautiful view over the water. If you don't feel like cooking, no problem, the old town has many restaurants.
This area is very suitable for fishing, canoeing, cycling via the dikes or walking in the woods. You are located near the Utrechtse Heuvelrug. If you feel like visiting various cities, this house is very centrally located; for example, Utrecht and Amersfoort can be reached within just 20 minutes. Amsterdam, Arnhem and Rotterdam about 1 hour.
