In the wooded hilly landscape of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug National Park near the town of Leersum, lies the former estate "De Darthuizerberg". The access to the vast forests of the Darthuizerberg is an experience in itself and there, at the end of the semi-paved forest lane, in the middle of the forests of the nature reserve, is the Darthuizer Lodge.
The Darthuizer Lodge gives the real feeling of the outdoors. It offers a view over the meadow with horses in the middle of the beautiful forests. The area offers the opportunity for endless walking and cycling. The Darthuizer Lodge is equipped with every luxury and comfort and gives the opportunity to relax. In addition, it is wonderful to enjoy a good night's sleep in beds from Royal Auping. There are many sights in the vicinity: the nature reserve is rich in centuries-old estates and castles and also offers many activities for children.
The Darthuizer Lodge can be reached by following a beautiful hilly, semi-paved forest lane where deer, owls and other beautiful animals regularly show themselves. The peace and beauty of nature can be felt throughout the kilometre-long route and immediately gives a feeling of relaxation: bustling city noises and hectic life fall away and make way for peace. Once you have arrived in the exclusive piece of forest, where some peace seekers are allowed to live in the heart of nature, the Darthuizer Lodge is also located.
The interior of the Darthuizer Lodge is inspired by the English cottage style, creating a cozy atmosphere. All windows offer a view of the surrounding forest and the meadow with horses. Endless hiking trails and cycling and mountain bike routes are accessible directly from the Darthuizer Lodge. Every season, this environment brings wonderful experiences to enjoy.

Ground floor
The kitchen, living and dining room, bathroom and separate toilet are accessible from the entrance hall. The kitchen is equipped with all built-in appliances and a Jura coffee machine, the washing machine is available in the bathroom. The living room has a wonderfully comfortable sofa and a Smart TV, and offers access to the terrace and garden through French doors. The cozy dining table offers plenty of seating.
First floor
Access to the 2 bedrooms, both of which are equipped with spacious Royal Auping box springs. The master bedroom sleeps 3 people (1 double bed and 1 single bed). The second room has 2 single beds.
The carport at the Lodge is equipped with a charging station for charging your electric car with a charging card (the wall sockets are unsuitable for this and are therefore not allowed). For the rate, we refer to the provider of the charging card
