A lovely place in the middle of the woods. Completely quiet, apart from the plenty of chirping birds. The lodge is equipped with every comfort, with comfortable beds, towels and sheets. The owners live next door to the lodge but we had complete privacy whilst communication with them was excellent. We would love to come back again!

Wonderfully quiet in the middle of nature. Horses right next to your terrace. What more could you want. Comfortable.

Warm welcome. Very neat lodge, well equipped. Brilliant for walkers and cyclists. Charming towns and villages are not far away. If you love nature and culture, you will find a good base here.

Beautiful interior, English country house style. Good equipment in the kitchen and fine luxury coffee machine. Coffee beans and tea were already provided. Auping bed. Delicious luxury hand soap and balm in kitchen and bathroom....

Fantastic equipped house, with comfortable beds and all comforts. Located in the middle of the woods and a good base for walks. Definitely recommended (just be careful with the car for the potholes in the access road).

The lodge is ideally located, tastefully decorated and very complete and equipped to a high standard. The friendly welcome and service of the landlord is extraordinary. Leersum is just a few minutes by car for possibly. necessary groceries.
The lodge turned out to be the ideal start and end point for us on a number of beautiful long hikes in this beautiful area. We will definitely come back!

Beautiful, solid cottage with all comforts (washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, good coffee maker, etc) located in a beautiful forest area, from where you can make many walks and bike rides. Owners are friendly and very service...

Beautiful, solid cottage with all comforts (washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, good coffee maker, etc) located in a beautiful forest area, from where you can make many walks and bike rides. Owners are friendly and very service minded. Their own house is next door, but there are plenty of facilities, such as hedges, that protect each other's privacy. Private shed in which bicycles can be parked (with electricity for charging batteries). Good mattresses. Everything exudes luxury. If there are twos/threes, you can also eat in the separate kitchen; Living room has a large dining table.
But one modest downside: there is no separate toilet upstairs, so at night you have to go to the toilet downstairs via a steep staircase.
