'Casa Viva la Vida', or 'Celebrate Life!'
When we got the chance to start our own holiday home, we grabbed it with both hands!
We bought a 'fixer-upper' and completely renovated it inside and out.
My partner, structural engineer with insight, determination and a dose of hotel DNA, and me with over 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry.
The perfect mix, and we are very proud and happy with the end result.

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

If the tenant wishes to cancel the booking for whatever reason, the tenant must always confirm this to the landlord by e-mail (even if, for example, this has already been communicated to the landlord by telephone). Landlord will charge the following amounts, depending on the date of written cancellation by the tenant:

100% refund - 28 days before check-in

50% refund - 14-28 days before check-in
Otherwise, no refund

If the tenant only announces on the start date or during the rental period that he will no longer use the rented property, he will continue to owe the full rent.

The restaurant at the marina of Ouddorp with a beautiful view over the Grevelingenmeer. The restaurant is located right on the water.

Beach club Bula. Here is a large stretch of beach marked out for blokarting, where this sport can be practiced all year round.
Beach at Natural High, Brouwersdam. Usually pleasantly busy with water sports enthusiasts.
Every Tuesday the market in the center of Ouddorp and in the high season with some regularity a large summer market. Ouddorp is an active municipality, many activities are organized throughout the year
Horse riding on the vast beaches of Ouddorp is also an option.
Protected nature reserve, entrance 10 minutes walk from our house. Beautiful hiking area.
The well-known festival 'Concert at Sea.' (on the Brouwersdam) is organized annually at the end of June.

The beaches in Ouddorp are 'un-Dutch' and win the annual prize for 'the cleanest beach'.

Beautiful nature reserve 10 minutes walk from our house, where beautiful walks can be made. Dogs are allowed to run loose in a large part of the area.

Bird observatory Tij. Even if you're not much of a birdwatcher, the impressive structure is also worth a visit.
LumpSun is a detached holiday home with a large enclosed garden with lots of privacy. Next to the house there is a spacious private parking space.
Beautiful beach at 'Natural High', a cozy beach bar where many activities and clinics are offered for water sports.
