A stone's throw from the dunes and the lovely beaches of Ouddorp is our cozy holiday home. 'The Den' dates from 1932 and has always remained within our family. The house can accommodate up to 6 guests and is ideal for families with children. The space outside the house is large, the house inside is compact but fully equipped. The stairs are slightly steeper than average.

After a day at the beach, you can relax on the beautiful terrace and enjoy the nature and privacy that this holiday home offers. The children can play in the large garden. The beautiful wide sandy beach of Ouddorp can be reached on foot! Here you will find plenty of beach bars to enjoy a bite to eat, but the cozy center of Ouddorp is also a few kilometers away.

Go out by bike and discover the beautiful island of Goeree-Overflakkee! The picturesque town of Goedereede with its monumental buildings is also well worth a visit. In addition to the beautiful cycling routes, the dune and nature reserves are perfect for endless walks in nature. The Brouwersdam and the Grevelingenmeer are ideal for water sports enthusiasts. There is plenty of kite surfing, surfing and sailing here. It is also always nice to visit Stellendam and Middelharnis.

In short, a great place to enjoy peace, beach, dunes and nature!

Welcome to the Den in Ouddorp! This holiday home is the first built holiday home on Goeree-Overflakkee and has always been preserved within our family. Generation five is now gratefully making use of this beautiful place! De Den is a house with history, character and plenty of atmosphere in a unique location! We love to come there ourselves, but we also like to receive guests and give them a nice holiday in Ouddorp!

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

If the tenant wishes to cancel the booking for whatever reason, the tenant must always confirm this to the landlord by e-mail (even if, for example, this has already been communicated to the landlord by telephone). Landlord will charge the following amounts, depending on the date of written cancellation by the tenant:

- In case of cancellation up to 90 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: free of charge
- In case of cancellation from 90 days (inclusive) to 42 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: 30% of the rental price
- In case of cancellation from 42 days (inclusive) to 28 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: 50% of the rental price
- In case of cancellation from 28 days (inclusive) to 14 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: 75% of the rental price
- In case of cancellation from 14 days (inclusive) before the start of the rental period: 100% of the rental price
- If the tenant only announces on the day of the start of the rental period or during the rental period that he will no longer make use of the rented property, he will continue to owe the full rent.
