Rain or gray outside? Great games again!! There is also a pick-up with records available, where you can dance 🕺💃
Retro forest house 'De Verpoozing' has the furnishings of the past (and the comfort of today).
Come enjoy Space , Peace and... RETRO !!! With us you will make a special journey, a time travel back to 1969!
'De Verpoozing' is NOT located on a holiday park but on a spacious forest plot (835 m2) and is located on a sandy path on the Borkeld (a wooded recreation area with detached, private houses) near Holten on the Sallandse Heuvelrug and is suitable for 1- 4 persons.
Would you prefer a different arrival or departure day? Send us an email and we will look together at the possibilities.
There is a living/dining room, kitchen, two spacious bedrooms and a bathroom, all on one level.
The open kitchen with the original kitchen unit from 1969 is adjacent to the living room! There is a refrigerator (with freezer compartment), microwave and oven. The kitchen cupboards contain storage tins filled with coffee and tea, among other things, so you don't have to go to the store straight away.
'De Verpoozing' has a pleasant, bright living room with a cozy (gas) stove.
The large windows all around give you a beautiful view of the forest and you can get a good look at the squirrels and birds. Would you like to see them even better? A pair of binoculars hangs on the coat rack!
Don't feel like going out? Then you stay at home!
When the weather is nice, relax in the garden with a book, doze in the hammock or just sit in one of the many spots, in or out of the sun. Plenty of choice!
Rain? You can also have a great time here! And when it's a bit cooler, you can turn on the stove or go dancing. There is a record player with records, there are "oh-yes-we-had-those-at-home-too" games and there is also reading material, in short, you don't have to be bored.
The beautiful nature of the Sallandse Heuvelrug invites you to walk and cycle. There are 2 bicycles ready for you. Bring your own bicycles? No problem, these can also be stored in the shed.
Would you rather go swimming? The Twenhaarsveld open-air swimming pool is 2.5 km away.
On the other side of the Holterberg is Nijverdal (10 km), a nice town to cycle to. The old Hanseatic cities of Deventer (20 km) and Zutphen (30 km) with their historic buildings are also definitely worth a visit!
Deventer has several nationally known cultural festivals, including the Deventer on Stilts street theater festival in July, the Boekenmark in August and the Dickens Festival in December.
The house has roof and floor insulation plus insulating glazing and a new central heating boiler.
This makes it a pleasant temperature all year round. Cool in summer and warm in winter!
Of course there is also WiFi, television, radio and central heating.
Parking is available under the carport next to the house or in front of the shed.
We are also easily accessible by public transport. Holten has a railway station and a bus stop is a 5-minute walk away.
'De Verpoozing' is not suitable for children aged 0-12 years. Pets are not allowed.
• Smoking, as well as (cheese) fondue or gourmet dining, is not permitted in the home;
• Lighting open fires and fireworks is prohibited in the Borkeld recreational area due to the risk of forest fire.
