Behind the building runs the river Lauwers where one can optimally enjoy the quiet fishing water at the jetty. In the area are several cycling routes hiking routes for anyone who likes a quiet environment. At 17 km you will find the beautiful Lauwersmeer area where you can enjoy a nice breeze. In Lauwersoog you can walk around to really get a breath of fresh air. The Schiermonnikoog boat also departs from this location.

For people who like to shop, the city of Groningen is at a distance of 24 km. In Leek there is a petting zoo and the estate Nienoord and a carriage museum to see. Also a swimming castle where it is wonderful to stay. In the city of Groningen you can go karting, Oudwoude in the factory paintball. The accommodation has 5 bedrooms, 4 upstairs and 2 showers. The rooms are equipped with washbasins and TV. The kitchen has an American fridge / freezer and ice cube machine. Airfryer and dish washer microwave oven 4 burner gas stove in the living room with dining table lounge and bar it is good to stay ordering beer is possible so you can tap beer yourself. Next to the property there is a large private parking place with lighting. The holiday accommodation is offered as self-catering. If desired, your hostess in the kitchen can provide you with a delicious breakfast lunch or dinner. There is also gas BBQ available,

From the living room you can walk straight onto the veranda and into the garden and through the part you see in this photo you enter the bedroom on the ground floor where you go to the terrace with the Ibiza chairs.

The Zuidlaardermer, 100 meters from the Lakehouse across the water and about 2 km if you walk, cycle or go by car. It is a nature reserve where you will find beavers, otters and the most special birds such as Bearded Man • Bluethroat • Marsh Harrier • Little Grebe and Black Grebe.

This is the back of Lakehouse Holland. Here you can clearly see that the house is right on the water. You can jump into the water from the jetty. There is also a bathing ladder if you prefer that.

The dining table and the open kitchen
The open kitchen is fully equipped. You will really want for nothing.
Enjoy a long time at the large dining table in the kitchen.
This living area is adjacent to the open kitchen, continues into an extra sitting area and gives access to the veranda.
On the covered veranda there is an opportunity to enjoy a good meal or to enjoy together. In addition to these seats, there is also a lounge sofa, gas heater and a hanging chair. The windows of the veranda can also be opened completely.
In the garden there is an extra large outdoor table where 12 people can eat. This is on the terrace on the water next to the veranda.
On the ground floor there is a double bedroom with an ensuite bathroom and a patio door to the terrace with three lovely Ibiza chairs. This room is so spacious that the existing cot can be placed here.
This bed is together with another bed in a bedroom on the first floor.
This bedroom has 2 beds of 90 x 210 and this bedroom is on the first floor and has a French balcony.
On the 1st floor, 1 of the 4 bedrooms is suitable for 3 people.
The garden is on the water, but the edge is trimmed with a net and two gates.
