In the yard of a characteristic Achterhoek farmhouse, the outbuilding that originally served as a stable for young cattle has been converted into a comfortable and attractive guesthouse.

From the hall you enter the cozy living room with open kitchen. High chairs may be available. Behind the living room there is a double bedroom and bathroom with toilet, shower and a 2-person sauna.

On the top floor there is a spacious double bedroom where cots can be placed.

The holiday home has two terraces. The terrace in front of the living room offers a view of meadows, the forest edge and the Pieterpad. You can enjoy the sunset and with a bit of luck see deer, pheasants and hares. In the evening the little owls make themselves heard. The bathroom terrace overlooks the orchard.

Our nature house is located in the outskirts of Zelhem on the Pieterpad in the Heidenhoek hamlet. The area is characterized by meadows and fields intersected by many dirt roads interspersed with forests. Here you can enjoy walking and cycling. Slangenburg Castle with its beautiful forests is 3.5 km away. There are various catering establishments and shops in the villages of Zelhem (2 km) and Doetinchem (5 km).

We are Renée and Frank, a retired couple. We have been living in the Heidenhoek in the outskirts of Zelhem for over 10 years now. We love walking and cycling in this beautiful area. Now we see the outbuilding
originally served as a stable for young cattle and has been converted and furnished as a guesthouse, we also enjoy letting guests enjoy the surroundings.

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

If the renter wishes to cancel the booking for any reason, the renter must always confirm this by e-mail to the landlord (even if this has already been communicated to the landlord by telephone, for example). The landlord will charge the following amounts, depending on the date of written cancellation by the tenant:

cancellation more than 3 months before the start of the rental period: free of charge
Cancellation between the 90th and the 60th day before the start of the rental period: 25% of the rental price
Cancellation between the 59th and the 30th day before the start of the rental period: 50% of the rental price
cancellation less than 30 days before the start of the rental period: 100% of the rental price

If the tenant only announces on the start date or during the rental period that he will not make any use of the leased property, he will continue to owe the full rent.
