Holiday home Bos and Henk Achterhoek

Our fine holiday home Bos en Henk is located in the small-scale park Buitengoed Bos en Enk in the outskirts of Halle. Surrounded by forest and the bocage landscape that is so characteristic of the Achterhoek. Directly from the house you can already make beautiful walks and bike rides. Zelhem is about four kilometers away. An attractive village with a wide range of shops and cozy restaurants.

Our house is ideal for people who love peace and nature. In the morning you will be woken up by the sound of the many birds. The house has two double bedrooms, each with its own bathroom with walk-in shower. And therefore very suitable for two (senior) couples. But it is also more than good to be on your own or together.

We clean ourselves and because we live in Amersfoort we only rent out whole weeks.
On the ground floor you will find the entrance, a nice kitchen with the necessary good stuff that a kitchen prince(ss) desires, a spacious, bright and attractive living room, storage room, one of the two bedrooms, with the ensuite bathroom and separate toilet.  The most common herbs are present in the kitchen. There are coffee filters, coffee and tea for the first few days so that you don't have to go to the store right away.

On the upper floor is the second bedroom and bathroom with walk-in shower and toilet. On the landing is a workstation with a top that you can adjust to your desired height, and of course there is excellent WiFi throughout the house. Also nice, the whole house has underfloor heating. We have decorated the garden with care for ourselves, our guests and not to forget the animals. Various types of (fruit) trees and shrubs, flowers and also the herb garden are appreciated by our guests. Anything that is edible at any time may be consumed.

As mentioned, you can already take wonderful walks and bike rides from the house. Be surprised by suddenly looming beautiful views, squirrels, pheasants and the odd roe deer. Culture lovers take a day trip to Ruurlo Castle and the MORE museum, visit Slangenburg Castle, or go to the Hanseatic cities of Zutphen and Doesburg. The Achterhoek has also become a real wine region. And there is so much more. In the house is a folder with a variety of suggestions. Discover new options for yourself and share them with us!
