Location
The forest house is located in a small-scale nature park from which you can walk straight through the forest to the Gorsselse Heide. The forest house has recently been attractively renovated and equipped with all amenities. The living room has high windows that provide plenty of light. The spacious open kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator with freezer, combination oven, dishwasher and sufficient cooking utensils and spices. The large garden (approximately 1200 m2) offers, in addition to whistling birds and passing squirrels, a picnic bench, garden set and parasol. For children there is a swing and sandbox in the garden. Bedroom 1 has a double Auping bed (160b) with an adjustable mesh base and pocket spring mattress, bedroom 2 has two single beds (which when stacked make room for a cot). The bathroom has a sink, walk-in shower and washing machine. There is also a separate toilet. The house is heated by a central heating system. WiFi (email and internet) is available throughout the house. There is a private parking space in front of the door.

Nature and environment
Forest, heathlands and dirt roads, interspersed with beautiful views and hedgerows. That is the beautiful area of Harfsen in the Achterhoek! Plenty of cycling opportunities. The Gorsselse Heide is within walking distance. There is a reception. The manager will welcome you and is regularly present. The beautiful surroundings are ideal for trips, for example to the Holterberg, the Veluwe, the IJsselvallei or the numerous castles and estates. Need culture and fun? Deventer, Lochem and Zutphen are nearby, and Museum More in Gorssel is highly recommended. There is a bicycle ferry at Gorssel to cross the IJssel. At the swimming pool in Almen you can sail with the Berkelzomp. For a relaxed meal, walk to De Zevensprong. It is a bit more chic at the Bosrestaurant. More attractions can be found at reception.
