We just bought this lovely cottage a few months ago and completely renovated and redecorated inside and out in March 2022!
It is a detached Tiny House, with a large sun terrace, pergola and large garden around with lots of privacy. The cottage is located in the middle of the woods on the Veluwe with its own parking space in front of the door, free use of a fast WiFi / internet connection and a nice Nespresso machine.
Smell the forest air, hear the birds chirping and see a deer or wild boar in the woods or on the heath.
For a romantic weekend away or together with the kids it is wonderful to stay here!
You can enjoy walking, cycling and resting in the fresh clean air here!
Due to its central location, there are many fun things to do in the area with and without children.
Visit the many small beaches and lakes, the various castles and estates, one of the nine Hanseatic cities, the many museums or amusement parks and zoos or one of the nice markets in the area. In less than half an hour you are at the Veluwemeer!
You can safely come with children: there are both a camping cot (0 to 2 years) and a high chair, many (board) games, toys / children's books and outdoor toys available in our house.
At the park you can rent bicycles, there is a small restaurant/café and a beautiful large playground with many play equipment.
The spacious living-dining room with open kitchen has French doors to the garden/terrace and a bay window with large windows so the house is nice and light.
The cottage has two bedrooms: one with a spacious double bed from Auping with new mattresses and a spacious wardrobe and a smaller bedroom with both a bunk bed and a single bed with new mattresses. Up to 5 guests (excluding baby/toddler in the camping cot) can stay overnight.
The bathroom has a spacious shower, sink, toilet and ample closet space for toiletries.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove, oven and microwave, filter coffee machine, a Nespresso, a kettle, a toaster and a four-burner gas stove. So you can stay at home and cook here, but also go to the pancake house around the corner or one of the nice restaurants within walking distance and nearby!
In the cottage there is an information folder ready for you with all the fun things to do and visit in the area and beautiful walking and cycling routes in the Veluwe. It also contains important matters about the house and the park. You will also receive a link to this if you have booked so that you can read through.
The cottage has a self check-in by means of a key safe that is located at the cottage so you can come when it suits you from 15.00. You will receive the code to open the key safe a few days before departure. This contains a pass for the barrier and the key to the house with which you can check in and enter.
Bed linen, towels and tea towels are not provided in the cottage. You have to bring these yourself or can be requested in advance and rented for a fee. In that case, it will be placed in your house (only applies to bed linen). If you want this, please let us know a few days in advance.
Of course there are sufficient duvets and pillows available.
In the park there is a washing machine and dryer where you can do your laundry for a fee. There is a drying rack in the house.
