On the edge of the woods in Gaasterland, quietly located just outside the town of Oudemirdum
our bright, cozy house (85 m²), on a plot of over 1300 m² with lots of privacy, in the middle of a sunny beech forest. The house has just been completely renovated! It has a spacious, sunny terrace behind the house, a barbecue and a shady terrace next to the house; the back of the garden is beech forest.

The house is located in a small-scale park with private holiday homes, without special facilities. There is a small playground. From the house you can walk within one minute into the vast Gaasterland forests, a perfect place to relax. Here you can enjoy walking, cycling and horse riding. There are marked walks and also a gnome path for the children. The IJsselmeer is nearby, about three kilometers as the crow flies, and you can walk straight through the meadows to it in an hour. Here you can swim and kite surf or sit on a terrace at the Mirnser Klif.

'De Hege Gerzen' is also located on the IJsselmeer, with a beach, miniature golf and a playground. The Wyldemark, a lake where you can sail, for example via the Luts to Balk, is a 10-minute walk from the house. You can rent a boat at several places in the immediate area. The pleasant village of Oudemirdum is within walking or cycling distance (500 meters) and there you will find a bakery, butcher, supermarket, bicycle rental ('t Hoekje) and various restaurants.
The beaches at Stavoren are 10 km away.

Layout: hall, separate toilet, modern spacious new kitchen with large gas appliance, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, washing machine and all necessary kitchen utensils; bathroom with walk-in shower and sink. Spacious, bright living room with sitting area with a comfortable sofa and 2 armchairs, a decorative fireplace, a separate dining area, TV and music player and an extra sitting area. There is also central heating everywhere in the house. On the ground floor there are two bedrooms: one with a single bed (8m2), and one with a double bed (11m2), 2 separate mattresses. first floor, bedroom with 2 single beds (9m2). The spacious modern bathroom has just been added. There is room for 4 cars in the driveway. The stairs upstairs have been replaced by a less steep staircase and now end in the living room. A new dormer window has been installed and there are new window frames with double glazing where this was not yet the case. There is laminate flooring in the bedrooms.

Gaasterland is the southernmost part of Friesland, containing the famous towns of Balk, Stavoren, Hindeloopen, Lemmer and Sloten. Gaasterland's slogan: straight from the forest to the water! The Gaasterland Golf Course is 1 km away from the house. You can rent a boat in Balk (8 km) or Woudsend (14 km) and sail directly or directly. the Slotermeer or the Fluessen and the Gaastmeer. You can rent a sloop on the Wyldemerk, 0.5 km from our house.
The beautiful city of Sneek is 25 km from Oudemirdum.
