In addition to being able to sit and relax on the corner sofa, you can also easily turn it into a 2-person bed.
The holiday studio has a private front door of which the upper part can be opened separately.

The dining table can be folded out to eat together, play a game or work on.
In the small kitchen you will find an electric 2-burner hob, an airfryer, a large fridge with a large freezer compartment underneath. There are also pans, plates, cutlery, kitchen linen, among other things.
You can also watch Netflix and listen to the radio via the TV.
For the evening we have cozy lights and the candles can be lit.
In the coffee corner there is a senseo and a kettle. There are coffee cups, coffee creamer, sugar and tea bags to give your stay a nice start.
Through the passage you enter the sleeping area. There you will see the bathroom with the closed sliding doors on the left.

In the sleeping area you will also find cozy lights and a large wardrobe.
We only get compliments about the sleeping comfort of the bed.

You can cook in the kitchen. All necessities are available. There is an electric 2-burner hob and there is an air fryer.
The sleeping area has a king-size bed. En-suite is the bathroom closed by sliding doors with walk-in shower, toilet and bathroom furniture. Here the towels are ready for you.
Here is a map. The studio is split into a sitting and a sleeping area. The entire room is nicely decorated with art and a beautiful light bamboo floor.
The cozy sitting area has a sofa, 2 leather chairs with armrests, a coffee table and a wall unit. It contains the books and TV with Netflix. And there is art on the wall.

The back of our house is on the water and we have a private jetty of 8 m long. With a boat with a maximum depth of 1 m you can lie here well. The port has a direct connection via the Idskenhuizer lake with the Koevordermeer and the Prinses Margrietkanaal.
On the back terrace is a large dining table where you can enjoy views over the water. Because we have a terrace on both sides of the house, you can always be out of the wind.
At the dining table it is always pleasant to eat or play games when the weather is not so nice.
If the weather is slightly less, or it is later in the evening, then it is good to sit in the seating area where you can light the fireplace.
Our kitchen contains a gas stove, an oven and a separate microwave and is well equipped with kitchen utensils such as good knives and pans and other handy kitchen aids.
The book corner in the living room with reading and cooking books, but also with all kinds of guides and walking and cycling maps. There is also our TV with a connection to the cable.
The toilet downstairs
Our spacious light bedroom with sink and balcony with stunning views over the harbor and the pastures behind it. If the corn is not too high, you can see the church tower of Langweer.
The bedroom for has two single beds and mattresses. Also at the front there is a covered balcony where you can also hang your clothes or clothes to dry. From here you look over the meadows and you see ships in the Princess Margriet Canal sail and in the distance the tower of Spannenburg lie.

The driveway with the fruit trees. In the spring we enjoy the beautiful blossom and from the summer we pick the fruit. Plums in July and August and from the end of September the apples, pears and quinces are ripe. The garden is completely fenced so that it is safe for small children and for dogs.

Our guests can also use our double canoe. Our children love to explore the little harbor and the lake.

View of the houses along the Lytse Mar. Our house is hidden behind the trees between the white and the red house. It is wonderful not to have neighbors opposite, but a pasture where geese often spend the night in season.
Smaller children can also enjoy themselves on the beach less than 100 m from our house.
The beach of the Idskenhuizermeer is less than 100 meters from our house. The beginning is very shallow and there is a beaded chain in the summer making it safe for small children. And big kids just step over it.
On the Idskenhuizermeerje children can sail safely in an Optimist or other small boat. There is also a lot of surfing. Sailing school Neptunus also gives lessons in various open sailing boats.
Often the lake is so picturesque. We can not get enough of it
Sailing school Neptunus from Idskenhuizen uses the lake for instruction in the Optimists and for the surfers. You often see the children of the sailing school passing by, or over the water when they go sailing, or by road when they play a game at the water.

The Sneekweek starts on the first Saturday in August. Very nice to watch the matches from the water.
The sawmill in Woudsend is really worth a visit. On Saturday it is open and when it blows you can see how the tree trunks are sawn into a mast.
The miller of the sawmill in Woudsend explains to our son about the working of the saw. Every Saturday the mill is open to the public.
A visit to Sneek and its beautiful water tower should not be missed. Sneek is a cozy water sport place, both by boat and by car well accessible ..
And of course you can stroll through the old streets in Sneek, visit nice shops and there are plenty of terraces to settle down when you're tired.
Locks, the smallest of the 11 Frisian cities is 5 km away. Easily accessible by bike, but of course also by boat.
Sloten also has its own mill: De Kaaij where grain is still being milled for, among others, bakery Twijnstra, which also has a bakery in Sloten and sells delicious bread. You can visit the mill on Saturday and also buy flour there.
We often go get an ice cream at the tiny ice cream shop on the canal that runs through Sloten, but you can also sit on a terrace.
The harbor in the village Langweer. Fine to apply if you are going to eat an ice cream (the snack bar on the corner has delicious traditional ice cream) or something to drink on the many terraces that Langweer is rich.
A nice trip to the vineyard in Sint Nicolaasga: Wijndomein de Heideplaats. You can get a tour and wine tasting. Sheep graze between the vines to keep the grass short between the vines.
