You can enjoy Friesland by bike, on foot or by car or with a book on the terrace. Apartments with a fantastic view over the Bildt landscape with its spectacular skies and clouds. In the apartment is a folder with outings and information material.
Arrival / departure weekend in consultation. Our changeover days are Monday to Friday.

I am Coby Bekius, together with my husband Marten we have recently been able to take over these beautiful apartments. We do this with just as much enthusiasm and pleasure as the previous hostess Corrie. We do everything we can to make your holiday as pleasant as possible. The meaning of "Loft" is Air. You have beautiful skies and clouds. The apartment is new, cozy and comfortably furnished for a relaxing stay.

Vrouwenparish is a village in the municipality of "Het Bildt". Around Vrouwenparochie you will find beautiful cycling routes, walking routes along the Wadden Sea coast or you can take the boat to a Wadden island.
At a short distance you can visit many charming villages and towns. See link "location". Within walking distance you will find: The cozy eatery & restaurant "Bij de Molen". Here you can enjoy a delicious meal. We recommend that you pay a visit here. The mill is located on the eleven cities sailing route. Within walking distance (2 min) you will find sauna "Hot Stones". It is famous for its soothing water. Deep under the ground of the sauna is a spring, a salt water source with which the baths are filled. The water in the baths is 34 degrees and contains many minerals that have a beneficial effect on your body.

Two kilometers away is the village of St. Annaparochie (5000 inhabitants).

Here you will find plenty of charming shops and you can choose from several supermarkets and restaurants.

In the seventeenth-century Church Van Haren married on June 22, 1634 the painter Rembrandt van Rijn Saskia Uylenburg. For this beautiful church stands the bronze statue of two lovers.

Discover this unique part of "Het Bildt" by bike, on foot or by car.
The Oude Bildtdijk is an old, worth seeing seawall and its end point is "Zwarte Haan", a place of peace, light, water and horizon. At the seawall you can also enjoy a cup of coffee or a culinary meal in the eatery & restaurant "Zwarte Haan".

The guest house offers you a convenient base to discover Friesland.
At a short distance you'll find beautiful (eleven) cities like Franeker and Leeuwarden, Dokkum (12 km), the capital of Friesland. Here you can shop, eat out, visit museums or choose from several guided walks along the canals and monuments. In Leeuwarden you will find the scheeftste tower of Netherlands: Oldehove.

A short distance from the guesthouse you can make a crossing to the beautiful West Frisian Islands.

In Holwerd you can take a boat to take the boat Ameland.In Harlingen to Terschelling or Vlieland.

In the apartment you will find a folder with information on such trips and prices and times of the crossings.

In the summer of 2011, you can choose from one or more trips to the Elfstedentocht to walk with. A great experience to discover Friesland.

If you love nature and the animal kingdom, then you are in the right place in our beautiful Bildt. This beautiful nature reserve, consisting of summer polders with drinking pools, salt marshes and salt marsh works, is managed by the "Fryske Gea". The "Fryske Gea" regularly organizes excursions to discover this beautiful nature reserve under the guidance of an experienced guide.
