This nature house is located near Norg (Drenthe) in one of the most beautiful spots in the wooded Oosterduinen. An attractive house, surrounded by an original forest garden of over 1200 m², where you can relax. An ideal base for walks and bike rides through forests, heaths and the unique Norger esdorp landscape. Children build huts in the forest garden and enjoy going out to, for example, the Boomkroonpad and Drouwenerzand Amusement Park.
On one side of the house you look out over the fields and you can enjoy the rising sun on a bench in the morning. The terrace with lots of privacy is on the other side. The cozy cottage is suitable for a maximum of two people. The large bedroom has a double bed with wonderful new mattresses. A small second bedroom, with a bunk bed, is ideal for children, but we find it too cramped and too 'basic' for adults .
There is also a gas heater, the kitchen and a bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. If it does rain, there is plenty to do in the house: you can use WiFi, digital TV, radio/CD player, games and lots of information about the area. Bicycles can be stored in the shed.
The Kop van Drenthe, where this house is located, is ideal for nature lovers. Take a walk from the house in the unique esdorp landscape around Norg. The small-scale landscape consists of old fields, heathlands, wet grasslands and precious old forest areas. The management of the area is aimed at preserving the rich nature and cultural history as best as possible. The result is an area that is an oasis of peace, where time seems to stand still. Or take your bike and visit nature reserves such as the Fochteloërveen, the Drents-Friese Woud and the streams of the Drentsche Aa. Still by car? A day trip to Schiermonnikoog is easy to do. The house is located two kilometers from the ancient village of Norg. It is a quiet, pleasant village with shops, restaurants and the Molenduinbad swimming pool for children. The city of Groningen (25 kilometers) offers plenty of opportunities for shopping, going out and visiting museums.
If you rent per week , Friday or Monday is the day of arrival and departure. A weekend lasts from Friday to Monday, a midweek from Monday to Friday. On the day of arrival you can enter the house from 3 p.m., while on the day of departure you must leave the house before 10 a.m.
