Our holiday home overlooks a small rushing waterfall that flows into a large pond. 'Intermezzo' is completely free and quiet and has a view of our large garden and pond with a bridge. The house has a spacious, bright living room, three bedrooms with single and new double beds and a well-equipped kitchen. Behind the garden is a lovely terrace, partly under the old apple tree. The house is suitable for a comfortable stay with 2 to 5 or possibly 6 people.
The house is centrally heated and equipped with an oven, dishwasher, microwave, LCD television, DVD, radio and free WIFI. There is a coffee machine with beans (coffee beans provided) and a Nespresso machine.
Grolloo is an active and musical (Blues!) village, with a shop and good catering facilities (including restaurants). There are extensive holiday options in the area. A large campsite, excellent shop, the Hof van Saksen holiday park - with a lovely swimming pool. But also opportunities for survival, Boomkroonpad, and of course there is much to walk and cycle. Assen (13 km), Rolde (6 km) and Borger are the major towns in the area. Grolloo is easily accessible by public and private transport.
