Are you ready for a place where you can really recharge, or do you want to enjoy recreation in the woods?
On the edge of the Drents-Friese would National Park, at the fine park De Reeënwissel in Hoogersmilde, it's all possible. It is a place where modern comfort and the tranquility of nature come together
The name De Wissel comes from the past. In nature, a 'switch' is the fixed path that deer and other wildlife use to migrate through the forest. It is a route of repetition, a place of movement and rest at the same time. That is exactly what we have in mind with this chalet: your own place in nature where you return again and again to leave the daily hustle and bustle behind and recharge.
🔥What makes this residence special is that it has been built completely gas-free and sustainably. Thanks to the excellent insulation and the wonderful underfloor heating, it is wonderful here all year round, without compromising on comfort. And with the air conditioning on, you wake up rested after the hottest summer night.

* Mountain biking, cycling and hiking 🚴 ♂️
The Green Route from Hoogersmilde to Diever: This route of about 23 kilometers starts right at the entrance of the park. It is a challenging route that is almost entirely on singletrack. Despite the fact that Drenthe seems flat, there are a surprising number of short climbs and technical bends through the forest in this route.
There is a bicycle in the shed. You can use these.

• Appelscha (approx. 7 km):
A cozy village with terraces, attractions and the famous Bosberg Tower.
• Diever (approx. 12 km):
Formerly one of the most important 'capitals' of the region and now world famous for the Shakespeare plays. A village that still really breathes that old Drenthe atmosphere.
