Villa

Casa Marta is a beautiful holiday home in a beautiful and convenient location. Quietly situated in the hills a stone's throw from the village of Isola di Fano, in the Le Marche region.

In the immediate vicinity you will find towns such as Fratte Rosa, Fossombrone and Pergola. Visit the picturesque villages, vineyards and olive groves or go cycling, walking or to the beach.
The medieval student city of Urbino with various culture and museums is also nearby. Within half an hour you are at the coast where you can choose from the many beach options or visit Fano or Senigallia.

Enjoy this beautiful area and relax in Casa Marta. Enjoy Le Marche together with family and/or friends. The house is located on a hill and offers fantastic views. The house is at the end of a cul-de-sac so there is no traffic passing by. During the day you can enjoy the private pool or the garden around the house.

The house is in a rural location on its own grounds of 3 hectares. Part of this is surrounded by a fence. The site has different levels and includes a small olive grove and vineyard. The grounds outside the gate can also be entered and explored. The bakery and small local shop are less than a 5-minute drive away, as well as a bank and a small bar for delicious coffee and ice creams.

The house consists of a cozy living room, a large dining kitchen, 3.5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms with toilet. The showpiece of this holiday home in Le Marche is the large and recently constructed swimming pool with salt water installation.

We are the Gerestein family and we have enjoyed coming to the Marche region for years. We fully enjoy our recently renovated house and would like to share it with others. We also love to see Le Marche in all seasons and enjoy every season as well. We hope you enjoy yourself here as much as we do.

Additional information

Casa Marta is close to the village of Fratte Rosa, which is best known for its terracotta. In addition, there are also delicious olive oils from local olive groves and good wines to taste and buy. A short distance away are 3 vineyards where wine can be tasted and bought. Terracruda winery, Cignano winery and Bucchini winery. The house is ideally located between mountains and sea, so that both can be easily explored. ? The Furlo gorge can be reached within half an hour and is an overwhelming limestone gorge through which the Candigliano meanders and flows into the Metauro River. There is a beautiful route that you can take by car through this natural beauty. The road through the gorge is the ancient Flaminia, the Roman road from Rimini to Rome. The road still leads through an old Roman tunnel. In the mountains of this gorge are many mountain bike and hiking trails that are worth climbing because of the beautiful views. In addition, you can also swim in the river near the town of Furlo. There are several places where one can go to the river, but also rocks from which one can jump into the river. The beautiful coastal towns are easily accessible, so you can reach Fano or Marotta within 30 minutes. In about 40 minutes you are in Pesaro or the other way to Senigallia. Montafoglio and Acqualagna are two places that are easy to reach and are known for their truffles. There are plenty of delicious restaurants in the area. Each village also has its own lively weekly market. In Fano there is a flea market and antique market every 2nd Saturday and Sunday of the month. Nice sights such as the caves of Frasassi, the university town of Urbino or Fossombrone are also a short drive away. Larger cities such as Ancona, Bologna and Florence are also within easy driving distance to visit.
