Since 2008 we have been the happy owners of an apartment on Lake Como. For a few years we had been looking for a nice place on the water. Not too far away, but preferably with a little more sun than at home. It is the ideal combination of mountains, water, sun and Italian romance for our family. And that in one day of driving (1000 km). from our hometown Zeist!
We have made our apartment a second home. For ourselves, but also for our guests, we want it to be cozy, comfortable and complete. The panoramic views and the pool make it very easy to love this place. The balcony is our favorite place. With a good glass of wine you can endlessly watch what is happening on the lake, sunrise and sunset, spectacular thunderstorms, or fireworks shows in the summer. The children spend endless time in the pool or in the lake. Although the house offers enough space for 4 to 6 people, it may only be rented to 2 people, with possibly. a small child.
The location is very suitable for all kinds of trips. To cities like Como, Lugano, Milan. In the mountains you can hike beautifully, suitable for both beginners and advanced hikers. And the many villages around the weather are all equally picturesque to stroll through. You can enjoy Italian cuisine in the many restaurants in the area, and don't forget the ice cream parlor in Menaggio! But cooking in your own kitchen and dining on your own balcony is perhaps the best....
