Since 2008 we are the happy owners of an apartment on Lake Como. Already a few years we were looking for a nice spot on the water. Not too far away, but like with more sun than at home. It is for us and for our daughters of 13 and 15 years the ideal combination of mountains, water, sun and Italian romance. And at 1000 km. of Utrecht!
We have made our apartment a second home. For ourselves, but also for our guests, we wanted the cozy, comfortable and complete. The panoramic view and the pool make it very easy then to keep this place. The balcony is our favorite place. With a glass of wine you can endlessly look at what is happening on the lake, at sunrise and sunset, to spectacular thunderstorms, or fireworks in the summer. The children stay indefinitely in the pool or in the lake.
The location is very convenient for all trips. In cities such as Como, Lugano, Milan. In the mountains you can enjoy hiking, suitable for both beginners and experts. And the many villages around the back are all equally picturesque to stroll through. Enjoy the Italian cuisine is very good in the many restaurants nearby, and do not forget the ice cream parlor in Menaggio not! But cooking in the kitchen and dining on the balcony is perhaps the finest ....
