Holiday Frankenau

Cozy semi-detached holiday home with a spacious entrance,
Three spacious bedrooms , 2 bedrooms with 2 single beds together and 1 bedroom with 2 separate single beds for a stay of up to 6 people. The sanitary facilities consist of a shower with toilet and a separate 2nd toilet. The holiday bungalow has an open kitchen with many extras, a spacious, cozy living room with a wood stove, television with satellite reception, 
a music system and wireless internet. The entire holiday home is on one level The spacious terraceis located on the south.
Private parking for up to 2 cars
Only from the parking space you have to take a staircase of 12 steps to the holiday home.

Maximum 1 pet allowed.


The house is located on the outer edge of the park; After about 100 meters you can walk straight into the Kellerwald-Edersee National Park.

Located in Feriendorf Frankenau , just a 2.5-hour drive from Arnhem.

The holiday home is an excellent place to enjoy a relaxing or active holiday. For example, hiking, motorcycling, etc.

Environment:

Frankenberg is a small regional town, 13 km from our holiday home in Frankenau. It is the nearest place of any size near our holiday home. Frankenberg is a city full of history, located on a mountain along the river Eder.

Korbach  is the only Hessian Hanseatic city due to its special charm and medieval fortifications, Gothic hall churches, stone warehouses, power and wealth.

The Edersee is also called the "blue eye" of the Waldeckerland . It is a paradise for recreation and holiday fun in the middle of the beautiful landscape of the  Kellerwald-Edersee National Park. The dam closes off the Eder Valley and created this magical landscape of lakes with a length of 27 km about a century ago.

The medieval castle, Schloss Waldeck, towers majestically on top of the rock. Here you have a fantastic view of the surroundings. The easiest way to reach the castle is with the Waldecker Bergbahn from the lakeside promenade. Other cultural attractions include the historic centre of Waldeck and Marienthal Monastery in Netze, a former Cistercian nunnery, the old mill in Freienhaben and the "Dorfstube" in Nieder-Werbe.

The state spa resort of Bad Wildungen is an important spa centre and friendly "wellness town" in the holiday region of Waldeck. In the old town you can enjoy a romantic setting. The well-kept spa park in the middle of this picture-book landscape is the perfect calling card of the city.
