The Hexenhuisje, a 6-person holiday home, is located in the village of Frankenau (Sauerland, Hessen). Directly on the Kellerwald-Edersee National Park, against the hill, lies the small, spacious and quiet recreation park Frankenau. From Frankenau there are several trips to take. In winter you can enjoy yourself in the various ski areas. There is also plenty to do in the summer. The Edersee (15 minutes drive) is within easy reach. At the Edersee you can swim, fish, boat, zoo, tobogganing. There is a dam wall in the Edersee that is definitely worth a visit. There are also several towns and villages to visit where real Fachwerk houses can still be admired. The cities of Marburg, Bad Wildungen, Kassel and Korbach are less than half an hour's drive away. Bad Wildungen is known for its spas such as spas and wellness facilities. Everything at hand to relax. Nature is central in all seasons.
The Hexenhuisje is located in a scenic and peaceful environment. You can take beautiful walks from the cottage, mountain biking, horseback riding or motorcycle rides. The Hexenhuisje has an authentic wooden look and has just been completely renovated (new toilet, bathroom, kitchen, skylights, floors). From the terrace and your own garden you have a view of the park and the wooded surroundings. The Hexenhuisje has a cozy and comfortable layout and is fully equipped.
Layout Ground floor: You enter the warm living room where the wood stove is central. On the ground floor is a spacious sitting area around the wood stove. There is also an extra sitting area around the large handmade wooden table, where you can eat and play games with the whole family.
First floor: Via a wooden staircase you reach the mezzanine. Here you will find the kitchen that is fully equipped. The toilet and bathroom are also located on this mezzanine floor. Also a bedroom with a double bed (box spring 180 x 200).
Second floor: Via the first floor you walk via the wooden staircase to the second floor. Here are two more bedrooms. In the first bedroom you will find another double bed (box spring 180x200). The other has two separate single beds. Both bedrooms have their own sink. These two bedrooms also provide access to the spacious balcony. From this balcony you have a distant view over the park. The sun can be found here until late at night and you have a view of the forest and some other houses. The balcony is therefore good for reading a book or drinking a glass of wine in the afternoon. Do not forget to view the beautiful starry sky.
