At the Nationalpark-Kellerwald in Frankenau you will find this 4 person luxurious and very fully furnished holiday home. The house is privately owned and located in the park that is known for its location in the middle of beautiful nature, not far from the famous Sauerland. Hidden among the greenery of the Sternberg, the park borders directly on the National Park- Kellerwald- Edersee. The holiday home is located at the top of the park in the last row with the most beautiful view over the park and the village of Frankenau. You are just a few steps from your front door to the Kellerwald National Park (Unesco heritage).

The comfortable house is located in a characteristic half-timbered house and has a living room with wood stove, open kitchen, 2 bedrooms each with 2 box spring beds 90x200 cm, baby cot, bath and high chair. Bathroom with shower, toilet and vanity unit. A spacious garden with 2 terraces. Storage room with patio chairs. A swing for the children, 2 scooters, 1 sled. Lots of children's DvD's, toys and reading material for young and old.
You also have English channels via cable, Wifi is free. There is also a chromestick for streaming.
Pets are not allowed

The half-timbered house has 2 floors. The property for rent is on the ground floor.

Holiday park Frankenau is beautifully situated in the middle of the Kellerwald National Park. For nature lovers, but also for families with children, there is a lot to see and experience. Two restaurants in the village 500 meters from the Park. Hikers as well as mountain bikers will get their money's worth at Feriendorf/Frankenau Nature Park. From the park you can go on fantastic walks or mountain bike rides. Within a few steps from our house you can easily reach the Kellerwald Uhr-Edersee National Park. The immediate vicinity is ideal for families who want to experience an active holiday. There is a multitude of family-friendly attractions in this holiday region!

Nearby is Germany's largest reservoir, the Edersee. At this vast lake you can go diving, sailing, surfing, water skiing, canoeing and boating, fishing or swimming. Wide range of indoor swimming pools in the area such as in Frankenberg and Bad Wildungen.

In addition, this region is also very interesting from a cultural-historical point of view with cities such as Marburg, Bad Arolsen, Frankenberg, Korbach, Waldeck, Fritzlar and Bad Wildungen. For winter sports you can go to Züschen, Winterberg and Willingen. 45 min from Frankenau.

We are Andry and Petra Bonthuis, have 2 children and live in the Noordoostpolder (Flevoland). We rent the ground floor apartment of the half-timbered house. We have bought our holiday home for the beautiful surroundings, the most fantastic view and for the peace, space and nature, which is why we also stay there regularly, and when we want to look up the crowds, there is plenty to do in the area !

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

The prices are from € 75.00 per night for 4 persons excluding cleaning (€ 55.00) and bed linen, The rental of linen is not mandatory, the costs for this are € 10.00 per person per stay. (You can also bring your own bed linen).
Pets are not allowed.

You must bring your own towels and tea towels.
Final cleaning is mandatory and the costs are also listed under the heading final cleaning.
You must leave the house broom clean, dishwasher empty and take the garbage to the relevant containers.

Cancellation Policy:

In case of cancellation up to 90 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: free of charge
In case of cancellation from 90 days (inclusive) to 42 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: 30% of the rental price
In case of cancellation from 42 days (inclusive) to 28 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: 50% of the rental price
In case of cancellation from 28 days (inclusive) to 14 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: 75% of the rental price
In case of cancellation from 14 days (inclusive) before the start of the rental period: 100% of the rental price
If the tenant does not receive a rental period until the

the tenant will continue to owe the full rent.
