Mysterieuse Eifelsfeer tijdens een ochtenwandeling, gemaakt door een van onze gasten.
Eifel in de herfst is mooi. Prachtige foto met uitzicht op Steffeln, gemaakt door een van onze gasten. Onze wandelkaarten voor de hele Eifel liggen klaar voor gebruik.
Overdekte entree en aangrenzend schuurtje (bruine deur). In het schuurtje staan een sneeuwveger, bagage trolley, tuinstoelen en tafel.
Beschut, maar een zonnig terras aan de voorkant van het huis.
Het uitzicht vanuit de woonkamer op de voortuin en het voetpad Buchenweg.
De wintervoorraad voor de liefhebbers van de houtkachel staat in de achtertuin.
De achterkant van het huis vanuit de hoger gelegen achtertuin, met ruimte voor zowel een schaduwrijk als zonnig zitje.
De hoger gelegen achtertuin is bereikbaar via 7 treden. U kunt gebruik maken van 4 hardhouten comfortabele stoelen, 1 hardhouten ligbed, een houten bankje, 2 tafels en 2 rechte houten stoelen. Kussens voor het tuinmeubilair liggen in het huis, als ook een hangmat.
De achtertuin biedt zonnige, maar ook schaduwrijke plekjes. Hier is het genieten van de stilte en de vogels.
In de tuin scharrelen egels en eekhoorntjes en ontdek je zwermen vuurvliegjes in het voorjaar. Voor liefhebbers ligt er een verrekijker en een vogelboek in de woonkamer.
Eekhoorntjes laten zich vooral in de ochtend en de avond zien in de tuin.
Winterdetails. De seizoenen in de Eifel zijn nog 'echte'seizoenen.
Het dorpje Lissendorf in de sneeuw. In het dorp zijn enkele winkels, een café en 2 restaurants; de bakker is 7 dagen per week geopend.

Er zijn geen officiële loipes, maar op het moment dat er sneeuw ligt, is langlaufen mogelijk. Voor de liefhebbers is in het huisje ook een Hollandse, houten slee aanwezig.
De Eifel kent nog echte seizoenen: het bos in Lissendorf anno Januari 2017. Het wild, zoals herten zwijnen en vossen, laat zich gemakkelijk spotten in de winter.

Gasten kunnen voor 6 euro per uur 1 van de 2 tennisbanen, gelegen aan het begin van het parkje huren. Bij het postkantoor in het dorp kun je een baan reserveren.
Aantrekkingskracht van de Eifel: de gevarieerde landschappen, door open velden, bossen en heuvels. In de omgeving van Lissendorf kun je prachtige wandelingen maken, variërend van 2 tot 8 uur.
De huizen van het natuurparkje Lissendorf liggen mooi verscholen in het groen.
De kapel van Steffeln ligt op de grote rondwandeling van Lissendorf naar Steffeln. In Steffeln is een cafe-restaurant.

rondom de meeste vulkaanmeren zijn gemakkelijk te bewandelen paden aangelegd.
De rondwandeling naar Steffeln (circa 4 tot 5 uur) biedt prachtige plaatjes. In Steffeln (halverwege de route) is het plaatselijke hotel-restaurant een aan te raden stop; niet zozeer voor de gutbürgerliche Küche maar vooral vanwege de Apfelstrudel.
Kronenburg, klein, sfeervol, mooi in alle jaargetijden. Ook Stadtkyll en Hillesheim zijn een bezoek waard.
Herfsttaferelen
Verken de omgeving op je mtb! Direct vanuit het huis heb je via vele bospaden toegang tot een groot bosgebied waar je prachtig kunt mountainbiken. Fietskaarten van de omgeving zijn aanwezig in het huisje.
Sommige jachthutjes zijn toegankelijk en bieden mooie vergezichten.
