This beautifully situated house is located in the heart of Burgundy. If you are looking for peace and quiet during your holiday, this is the ideal place! You have a heated private swimming pool with sunbeds (open from May 1 to Oct. 1), where you can relax. The garden is completely enclosed by a beautiful hedge, so privacy and safety for playing children are guaranteed. You can enjoy the sunshine and the surroundings without having to worry about losing sight of the children.
The living room, red bedroom and yellow bedroom are equipped with air conditioning, for both hot and cold.
Your holiday home is only a 1.5-hour drive from Paris and a stone's throw from the historic towns of Saint-Sauveur and Saint-Fargeau. The cities of Auxerre and Vezelay are only half an hour's drive from your accommodation. Here you can fully enjoy the cozy shopping streets, local markets, the many terraces and of course the French brasseries, where you can enjoy a snack and a drink.
The city of Auxerre has a lively city center with a rich history. You can see this history in the many old churches and buildings.
However, if you want to enjoy the beautiful nature and tranquility, we recommend that you visit the natural park of France, the Morvan.
The Yonne area, through which the Yonne River also flows, is ideal for hiking, cycling, mountain biking, fishing, boating and horseback riding.
Furthermore, a visit to the vineyards of Sancerre, Chablis or the Irancy is also very worthwhile. In the evening, you can enjoy your newly bought wine on the terrace of your holiday home or under the canopy by the pool. Of course, these wines go well with a Burgundian meal. Both the ingredients for this meal and a variety of French cheeses are for sale in abundance at the local markets. In combination with the pleasant temperature, you cannot help but feel like God in France.

Your holiday home has an attractive living room with dining area, fireplace and a cozy sitting area. In the sitting area you have access to a television with satellite, so that you can watch the Dutch channels if you wish. The living room has French doors on both sides with tilt/tilt closure. On one side these doors open onto the beautiful terrace.
There is a barbecue on the terrace that you can use. Many guests choose to have their evening meal on the terrace with the setting sun in the background, which slowly disappears behind the forest. Furthermore, from the terrace, you have a view of the HEATED swimming pool (1 May to 1 Oct) with the spacious sunbeds.
For lesser days there is a covered terrace with dining table and lounge sofa.
Children who want to take another dip can do so quietly, while you keep an eye on things while enjoying a drink and a snack.
On the other side of the house, the patio doors open onto the veranda, from where you have a view of the gigantic garden (3000 m2)
Your accommodation also has a luxury kitchen with oven, microwave, gas hob, dishwasher and a fridge / freezer. In the red and yellow bedroom and in the living room there is air conditioning, for both heating and cooling.
And recently a covered veranda by the pool, for periods with slightly less weather or out of the bright sun. The veranda is equipped with roll-up plastic screens. Please leave it down in bad weather so that no rain gets into the veranda. The side of the veranda can also be entered through a door in the screen when it is closed.
