Riverhouse

 On the river Cure, at the foot of the picturesque Vézelay, the authentic River House is for rent. Vézelay is a medieval pilgrimage town. It has a special one dedicated to Mary Magdalene, thousand-year-old monastery church. On old pilgrim roads you walk through the most beautiful nature. On the terrace of the Boerenhuis you have a good view of the river Cure, which has been flowing here for millions of years, which is also good for lots of water fun in the summer - making dams, fishing or sailing with the canoes available. The house is big enough for seven people, but it is also great to live there as a couple or alone. Out of season it is good to relax at the wood stove. Wifi, washing machine etc. are available. Extensive cooking can be done in the rural front kitchen. In the village everything is at hand: bakery, butcher and a small supermarket. The kitchen in the grange is ideal in summer if you want to eat on the terrace by the river.

On the water is the grange (granary) that was added to the house. On the other side of the path is an old water mill, which has not been in use since time immemorial. Once upon a time, farmers came and went here who had their grain ground there.
The very spacious living room on the first floor gives a beautiful view of the river. There is a beautiful roof construction of old beams, and a small floor has been made, the 'sleeping loft', with a double bed. In the small living room there is an extensive collection of LPs in different genres. There is also a collection of books and games for guests to draw from. For those who want entertainment outside the door: the village also has a café and a restaurant.
