Gite Le Pavegnon

Gite Le Pavegnon is located in the south of Burgundy, about 830 km from Utrecht, in the middle of nature and yet within walking distance of the village of Uxeau. This characteristic long-gabled farm has an attractive house for two to four people. There is also a large barn inside, where children can play in bad weather.

The outdoor space is spacious: a cozy garden around the house, with two terraces, a roof for when the weather is not so good, and various sun and shade spots. The farm is completely free, with the first neighbors at 80 meters, which guarantees privacy in the private garden.

Gite Le Pavegnon is located near the Bois de la Vella, and not far from the Morvan nature reserve, with its vast forests, hills, farmlands and lakes. The gite is located on a quiet country road with little traffic, in a sloping, green area near Mont Dardon, a mountain popular with hikers and famous for its panoramic view from the top. In the meadows around the farm, the Charolais cows graze with their calves, and you can regularly spot a deer or a bird of prey flying overhead.

From the front terrace of the farm you have a fantastic view; in clear weather you can see for miles. There are some small lakes in the area.

At about 4 kilometers from the gite is a fishing lake, where tenants of Le Pavegnon can fish for free, because it is owned by the owner of the gite.

The gite for 4 people has a living-dining room, bathroom with bath with shower, sink and toilet, and 3 bedrooms.
In addition, the farm has a large upper floor and an extra kitchen, making the farm not only suitable for families or two couples, but (for an additional charge) also offers space for groups of up to ten people. In that case, the indoor shed can also be used for workshops and/or training.
In addition, the farmhouse, with the main living areas on the ground floor, is also suitable for the disabled.

Gite Le Pavegnon is attractively furnished, with a wood stove for cold(er) evenings in spring and autumn. There is a good internet connection.

Gite Le Pavegnon is located in the Saône et Loire department in the south of Burgundy. The town of Gueugnon with a large supermarket and other amenities is only 10 km away. Moreover, the gite is not far from larger towns such as Paray le Monial, Montceau les Mines, and the spa town of Bourbon Lancy.
