Cottage La Varenne

The gîte is a high-quality converted old barn and is now a detached house with private garden and privacy. It stands together with our house on a spacious plot of 6000m2.  The garden of the gîte and swimming pool are separated from the rest of the plot by a fence. This makes it safe for children and any pets.
The total area of the gîte is 120m2. The holiday home is suitable for 6 people.

The gîte is comfortably equipped with luxury furniture. All equipment is there to make your stay as pleasant as possible. There is central heating and the drainage is connected to the mains drainage (no septic tank).

Swimming pool
Behind the gîte is the swimming pool. For security, it is fenced and the gates are equipped with safety locks. To avoid too much noise for our neighbors, the pool is closed at 22:00. The pool can also be used by ourselves. 

White goods
You have access to a washing machine and dryer. The kitchen is equipped with an oven, microwave and dishwasher and spacious freezer.

WiFi
Wi-Fi is available in the gîte. There is also an outdoor transmitter to use wifi at the pool. 

Hearth
The house has a fireplace. There is a small stock for use. If desired, more wood is available for a fee.

TV
In the living room there is a TV. This is intended to be able to play your own content. The TV has multiple HDMI inputs.

BBQ
Outside is a large Weber BBQ ready for cooking and eating outside. 

Central heating
The gîte has a gas central heating system. This makes it wonderfully comfortable even in the colder season. In order not to make the rent unnecessarily high, the gas price is settled at cost price.

Living room
You enter the gîte in the living room which is 50m2 in size. If the weather is not so good, you have enough space to stay inside as well.
The living room has a large fireplace, lounge sofa, sitting area and a dining table for 6 people.

Kitchen 
The kitchen is fully equipped: an oven, separate microwave, dishwasher, fridge with large freezer, coffee maker, toaster and hand mixer. Of course, everything is there to guarantee a comfortable stay for 6 people.

Bedrooms
A small staircase leads to the back of the house. Here are 3 bedrooms, each with a sleeping place for 2 people. In 2 of the bedrooms it is possible to adjust the arrangement to two single beds. 

Bathroom
The bathroom has a double sink and walk-in shower. In the bathroom there is also a washing machine, dryer and there is a drying rack for inside or outside. Through the hallway towards the bathroom you reach the separate toilet.

Outside
There is a spacious private garden adjacent to the swimming pool. This is closed with a canopy during the night. This ensures that the water does not cool down too much.

The prices are based on 6 persons. Outside the May and summer holidays, an adjusted price is possible for fewer people after consultation.
