La Source du Pech is a charming holiday home near the pleasant town of Gourdon in the beautiful Lot region in south-west France. This charming house can accommodate 6 people and is ideal for families, friends or couples looking for peace and comfort during their holidays. The location on a spacious plot of 17,000 m² gives a feeling of privacy and space, with a wonderful view over the landscaped lake and over the green French countryside.
Inside
Inside you will find a comfortable and living area and all the modern amenities you need. The house has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (photos will follow), including a bedroom with bathroom on the ground floor. The open kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker (filter and Senseo), toaster and kettle, so that cooking and eating together becomes a pleasure. Two toilets and two bathrooms.
Outside
The great outdoors is at the heart of La Source du Pech. In the spacious garden with a beautifully landscaped lake you can enjoy sun-drenched terraces, a cozy barbecue, umbrellas and comfortable sun loungers around the private swimming pool (7 x 3 m, depth 1.50 m) with security alarm, ideal for relaxing with a book, a glass of wine or a refreshing dip on hot days. There is a covered terrace with a table, chairs and there is even a pétanque field for pleasant afternoons in the shade. The owner lives further down the property and will respect all privacy. Also keep in mind that if you come with children, they have a swimming certificate because of the lake. It is not possible to swim in the lake.
Surroundings
The location is ideal. A short distance away you will find a first village with a bakery and supermarket at about 1.5 kilometers and cozy restaurants at about 2 kilometers. The area around Gourdon is known for its medieval villages, lively markets, beautiful nature and rich culture. Take scenic walks through the countryside, visit local wineries, or spend a day at the Lot River, where you can canoe or have a picnic in nature.
