La Source du Pech is a charming renovated holiday home close to the charming town of Gourdon in the beautiful Lot region. This charming house can accommodate 6 people and is ideal for families, friends or couples looking for peace and comfort during their holidays. The location on an impressive estate of 17,000 m² gives a feeling of privacy and space, with a beautiful view over the landscaped lake and over the green French countryside.
Inside
Inside, you'll find a comfortable living area and all the modern amenities you need. The house has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (photos 2nd bathroom will follow), two of which are bedrooms and a bathroom conveniently on the ground floor. The open kitchen is fully equipped so that cooking and eating together becomes a pleasure.
Outside
The great outdoors is at the heart of La Source du Pech. The holiday home is located on a tree line in a spacious garden with a beautifully landscaped lake. In the garden you can enjoy sun-drenched terraces, a jeu de boules court, a barbecue, parasols and comfortable sun loungers around the private pool. The covered terrace to the right of the house is the place where you can sit and eat in the shade. The friendly owner occupies a private area on the estate at an appropriate distance, completely private and separate. Thanks to the spacious layout of the site, you have complete privacy.
Please note that if you come with children, they have a swimming certificate because of the lake. It is not possible to swim in the lake.
Surroundings
The location is ideal. A short distance away you are in the middle of Gourdon with all amenities such as nice restaurants such as Le Pot Occitan, bakeries and supermarkets. The area around Gourdon is known for its medieval villages, lively markets (2x a week!), beautiful nature and rich culture. Rocamadour (one of the most visited places in France), Sarlat and the "Valley of the Castles" are all within easy reach.
Highlight: The owner is an experienced helicopter pilot and offers guests the unique opportunity to explore the region from above. We were able to experience this flight ourselves and it is nothing short of breathtaking to see the castles and the river from the air. An absolute must for an unforgettable holiday memory!
