Miramonde is an exceptionally attractive and romantic holiday home with private heated pool, located in an enchanting place in the heart of the Dordogne, in the famous Triangle d'Or. This more than 300-year-old house feels like a fairy tale and combines authentic charm with contemporary comfort. It is located on the edge of the lovely village of Savignac de Miremont, surrounded by peace, nature and plenty of hiking opportunities directly from the house. An ideal place for those who love privacy, character and real French life.
Inside
Inside, you will be welcomed by a warm and cozy interior. The comfortable living room invites you to long evenings by the stove, although this is usually hardly necessary thanks to the pleasant climate. In the well-equipped kitchen with fine dining table you can easily prepare a delicious French meal. From the kitchen you can step straight onto the terrace, perfect for enjoying lunch or dinner together in the open air.
The holiday home has two cozy bedrooms. One bedroom is furnished with a double bed, the other with two single beds that can also be made up as a double bed. The modern bathroom and separate toilet are located in the basement.
Outside
The garden is playfully laid out over three levels and offers its own atmosphere on each level. On the first level there is a dining table with beautiful views over the hills. The second level features a terrace with ping pong table and outdoor shower. On the lower level you will find the private heated swimming pool of 9 by 4 meters and 150 centimeters deep, equipped with a cover according to French safety standards. Around the pool is a modern lounge set under a canopy and sunbeds where you can relax and enjoy a refreshing swim. In addition, there is a large lawn, ideal for a game of football or other outdoor activities. Part of the garden is fenced, which is extra practical when the dog comes along.
Surroundings
Its location in the Triangle d'Or means that you are in one of the most beautiful and versatile areas of the Dordogne. In the immediate vicinity you can visit numerous castles, enjoy impressive nature and get acquainted with special prehistoric finds and atmospheric medieval villages. Activities such as canoeing or supping on the river, hiking, horseback riding and visiting caves are plenty possible. In addition, lively places such as Le Bugue, Périgueux and Sarlat la Canéda are within easy reach, known for their lively weekly markets and excellent gastronomy.
