The Signals – a cosy holiday home in the heart of the Périgord Vert
Welcome to The Signals, a comfortable two-bedroom holiday home in the village of Piégut-Pluviers, in the beautiful Périgord Vert. Sleeping up to four people, it is perfect for couples, a small family or friends looking for a relaxing holiday in rural France.
The house is spacious and welcoming, with everything you need for an easy-going self-catering holiday. There is a well-equipped kitchen, a comfortable living and dining area and two bedrooms, giving you plenty of space to relax after a day exploring the surrounding countryside.
Outside, you have your own private outdoor space where you can enjoy breakfast in the sunshine, a relaxed lunch or a glass of wine in the evening. Guests also have access to our large shared gardens, where there is plenty of space to relax, play and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
The very large swimming pool is shared with guests staying in our two other gîtes and is open during the summer season. There is plenty of space around the pool, as well as garden games for both children and adults.
One of the best things about staying at The Signals is being able to walk into the village. Piégut-Pluviers has a bakery, shops, cafés, bars and restaurants, so you don't need to get in the car every time you fancy a coffee, a meal or some fresh bread. The village is also famous locally for its Wednesday morning market, which brings the centre to life each week.
The surrounding Périgord Vert is perfect for exploring at a leisurely pace. There are beautiful walking and cycling routes, lakes and rivers for swimming and water activities, historic villages, châteaux and plenty of opportunities to discover local food and markets.
For a day out, Brantôme, known as the "Venice of Périgord", is around 30 minutes away, while the wider Dordogne and Charente regions offer plenty more to discover.
Or, of course, you can simply stay put. Spend the morning by the pool, wander into the village for lunch, read a book in the garden and enjoy a leisurely evening without having to go anywhere at all.

We live on the property, so we are nearby if you need anything and are always happy to recommend places to visit, local restaurants, markets and things to do. However, we also understand that a holiday should feel like your own time and space, so we leave you to enjoy your stay in peace.
