We wish you a warm welcome in our Gîte. A lovely wooden chalet where you can enjoy all the beauty of the Perigord Vert in the north of the Dordogne. The Gîte is located near the authentic village of Jumilhac Le Grand. The Gîte was completely newly built in 2019 and is located on a separate part of the site, so you can enjoy the peace and quiet. On warm days you can jump straight into the private swimming pool, which is located right next to the chalet. It is wonderful to relax on the veranda. The chalet is suitable for four people and consists of a living room with open kitchen, two bedrooms, bathroom with toilet, sink and shower. The gîte is attractively heated with a wood stove. A camping bed and high chair are available for children. Beds are made and all other linen is provided, except pool towels.

We are the landlords, Jan and Dianne, and have been living in France since 2018. We built this chalet so that our children and grandchildren have their own place to stay when they visit us.
Because the chalet is still empty for many weeks a year, we have decided to rent it out. This way, more people can enjoy this chalet and the beautiful,

The terrace has two sunbeds, garden furniture and a BBQ (and a beautiful view of the village!). Our house is close to the swimming pool and yet you will find peace and quiet here at any time of the day.
A cozy living room with lots of natural light and an open kitchen. From the living room you have access to the terrace with BBQ.
The kitchen has an oven / microwave, a gas fire, large fridge, coffee maker and coffee machine.
On the ground floor is the bedroom with double bed and window to the terrace.
On the first floor you will find a bedroom with two single beds and a sofa bed.
The recently renovated bathroom with shower is located on the ground floor.
The terrace overlooking the lower Carlux.
In spring and summer there is always time to light the barbecue.
You will also find peace here in the evening.
