Our chickens roam free and give lots of eggs in all colours: white, brown, chocolate, green and blue

From the kitchen you can go through a step-through window to a terrace that overlooks the orchard and the valley behind the house.

The private property of one hectare consists largely of grassland and a small plot of forest. The lawns in front of the house are flat and offer plenty of opportunities for sports and games.

Market on Saturdays in Lauzerte, with products from the goat farm, lots of fresh fruit and vegetables from local farmers, but also wine from chateau d'Aix and honey from the beehives, which are located on the edges of the lavender fields.

Canoeing from Douelle to Caix on the Lot (2 to 3 hour trip), after which you can have a picnic (or eat in the lay-back restaurant) on the river and return to Douelle by shuttle bus or electric (rental) bicycle.

This is especially for the teenagers to hang out.
In the holiday home there is plenty of information about all tourist attractions in the area.
You won't get enough of the view from the veranda of the church of Beaumont and the valley.
Because the veranda is out of the wind, you can eat outside here very early in the year.

The new terrace is wonderfully spacious!
There is enough space for kite flying on the large lawn next to the holiday home.
The children enjoy themselves on the huge trampoline.

Everywhere in the Dordogne the walking routes can be recognized by the yellow posts and signposts. A walking route map is available for free in the holiday home.
There is also plenty of space downstairs by the pool to eat or have a drink outside.
We can inform you well about the region. The guests of recent years have also left tips (e.g. restaurants).

Beaumont-du-Périgord is close to vineyards and their chateaux.
