This is what your holiday home looks like from the outside, at the top of your private garden of half a hectare.

You have the swimming pool to yourself with all the privacy that entails.
The kitchen: lovely place to wake up slowly in front of the kitchen window in the morning with a cup of tea. Cupboard and cutlery drawers from the local furniture maker, and space for lunch box and oven. Favorite spot of our children when they were little.

Electric charging everywhere. Symbol with plug behind car = charging stations: car routes, hypermarches, often at Lidl and Lecler, medium-sized places, intersections with shops, car companies, etc. Lecler is 30 km from our house. A little further McDonald. Rate from 47/kWh to 64/kWh (Dec. 2024)
Onder de abri van het grote terras kunt u heerlijk in de schaduw zitten. Genieten van een mooie Franse wijn, of van Hollandse koffie. Wij eten er vaak 's avonds met de verlichting aan. En als u die uit doet, ziet u een sterrenhemel zoals u nog nooit hebt gezien.

In the evenings I sometimes work here. But the cupboard behind me is full of games. And on the left are the books.

These cabinets are also custom-made by our French furniture maker, according to French taste. The kitchen is not big, but everything you need is there. Don't forget the local butcher. He remembers which cow owns the meat he sells. And who that cow belonged to...

If you're wondering how big a half-acre garden is, it's that big. Fortunately, the farmer mows it regularly! The property is completely fenced.

Zicht op ons strand vanaf de ruïne (2 km vanaf ons huis). U kan erg mooi wandelen langs de waterrand.

Our beach 400m away overlooking magnificent 14th century castle on the other side. The water is delicious, temperature is fine. The lake is not very wide here. I swim in 40 minutes to the other side to consider an outdoor cafe there ..
From our beach you can see the castle from the photo. On Wednesday evenings there is often music for those who want it. Manor's visit, from the towers beautiful view over the lake.
We walk a lot, there are many marked trails by the French Tourist Office, from short (1- 1.5 hours to 4-5 hours long. In the house are the routes that you can take during your walk. Sometimes views of volcanoes, sometimes by villages, sometimes waterfalls, always plenty of variety during the walk.

Behind the waterfall of Saut de la Saule (12 km from us at Bort les) is a momentum where the play very nice with small streams and waterfalls. We often go there with the kids around.
