If desired, Dutch TV channels are available. Fantastic walking and cycling area. Exclusively for our guests we have a large number of walks available as GPX files for smartphone or hiking GPS (so never get lost again). Price including: wifi, bed linen, electricity, tourist tax and final cleaning.

Gite du Bois II is a comfortably furnished, comfortable gite, where you can relax throughout the year (also during winter sports!). Located on the edge of the authentic village of Egliseneuve d'Entraigues in the Puy-de-Dome (Auvergne).

Detailed description:
Ground floor: Kitchen, Sitting area, Dining area, 1st Toilet & 1st Terrace:
You enter the gite through the modern fitted kitchen with all appliances and supplies. Through the kitchen you enter the cozy, spacious sitting and dining area with a comfortable 3-seater sofa, 2 armchairs, coffee table, stereo / CD player, DVD player, flat screen TV with satellite connection, modern wood-burning stove and a high dining table. Through the patio doors you reach the fully fenced, wooden terrace at the rear -south-east side of the gite. Due to the location of this terrace you can already enjoy the sun during breakfast. From the terrace you have a beautiful green, relaxing view and in the background you hear the babbling of the river that flows below our site. The terrace is equipped with garden furniture. There is a toilet on the ground floor as well as in the bathroom upstairs.

Floor: 2 Bedrooms & Bathroom with 2nd toilet:
The fixed, closed staircase leads to the first floor with a double bedroom with a comfortable double bed of 180x200 cm (2 separate mattresses and bases, box spaces) and a built-in wardrobe. A bathroom with shower (in the bath), bathtub, sink, toilet and radiator and a room with a bunk bed (both mattresses 90 x 200 cm) and storage space. Our beds all have good mattresses and 4 seasonal duvets.

2nd Terrace, Garden & River:
On the side of the gite - south side - you have access to a second wooden terrace with garden furniture. In addition to the use of both terraces, you can use the entire enclosed garden (approx. 4,000 m2). Guests of Maison van Stijn can reach the private river below the site via a "natural" staircase.

All year round, also winter sports!
The gite is well insulated and can be fired well by means of fast-acting electric heating and a modern insert wood fireplace. Both summer and winter it is therefore very pleasant in temperature in the gite. Firewood is available on site. You can park your car on our private site, near the gite.

On vacation with the dog
Dogs are just as welcome with us as their owners. The gite is situated in a fenced garden of approximately 4,000 m2 and has a fenced private terrace. Of course, your dog can also use the private river on our site. There are 2 waterfalls and a swimming lake for your dog within walking distance of the gite. Your dog can run (almost) everywhere. There are countless beautiful walks with plenty of shade and cooling. Exclusively for our guests we have a large number of walks available as GPX files for smartphone or hiking GPS. There is also a walking booklet in the gite.
