A detached holiday home in a small hamlet and at the end of a cul-de-sac with beautiful views. It stands on a plot of 5000 m2. On the site is a trampoline, an outdoor fireplace, a vegetable garden and greenhouse and a chicken coop. There are tables, chairs and sunbeds with cushions, which you can use throughout the site. The holiday home has been completely renovated and equipped with many conveniences.
Changes of arrival, departure and stay are possible in the low season in consultation.
Pets are welcome in consultation.

My name is Irene Schager and I have enjoyed living at Farniente Monange since 2009.
Together with family, friends and professionals, I converted a ruin into a holiday home and the Grange is now my home.
In 2021 I started with a vegetable garden, a rainwater collection system and fruit trees.
I have studied Permaculture and want to improve the earth a bit.
I live here with my dog Bailey, 4 cats and chickens.
I am a Shambhala (Reiki) Master and Energetic Therapist.

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

The price includes final cleaning and tourist tax. All linen is provided.

Please bring towels for outdoor use.

Bring your own blanket and towels for your pet.

Annul:

The landlord will charge the following amounts, depending on the date of written cancellation by the tenant:

• In case of cancellation up to 90 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: free of charge

• In case of cancellation from 90 days (inclusive) to 42 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: 30% of the rental price

• In case of cancellation from 42 days (inclusive) to 28 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: 50% of the rental price

• In case of cancellation from 28 days (inclusive) to 14 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: 75% of the rental price

• In case of cancellation from 14 days (inclusive) before the start of the rental period: 100% of the rental price

If the tenant only announces on the day of the start of the rental period or during the rental period that he will not make any use of the leased property, the tenant will continue to owe the full rent.

Additional information

Serandon is 2km from Monange. There is a bar and a small shop: Chez Brigitte. There is a bar / restaurant: Chez Lisa. There you can eat from the menu but you can also put together a pizza that is baked in a real bread oven. You can eat outside when the weather is nice. In the summer months there is a music evening every Thursday evening.

Neuvic is 10 minutes by car from Farniente Monange. You will find bars, restaurants, shops and a supermarket there. Nearby is the large reservoir with beaches and water sports possibilities. In the summer months there is food on the square every Friday night at long tables, market stalls with local produce and music.

The golf course is located on the reservoir and close to Neuvic. It is a golf course with challenges and is beautifully landscaped. From the golf course you have a beautiful view over the Puy de Sancy
