Welcome to our charming gîte in a spacious location with a view of the mountains: Puy de Sancy and Puy de Dome. You will have complete privacy thanks to half a hectare of private land with fruit trees. There is a characteristic barn, an authentic well, a private swimming pool and a ruin with two restored walls, which shield the view from the road. Welcome to our charming vacation home and private pool to yourself.
There are no guests other than yourself on the entire plot. The house, the swimming pool, the barn, a well, three terraces, and the walls of the ruin for privacy are yours. So you rent the whole exclusively for you and your party.
The estate of 5000 m2 with height difference houses walnut trees and fruit trees. The largest of the three terraces is 40m² and partly covered (10m²). There is lighting, garden furniture, barbecue and a fireplace. Ideal for wonderful days and unforgettable evenings.
You have a private swimming pool (8 x 4 m oval, 1.10 m deep) with mobile roof and 2 sun loungers. You do the maintenance of the swimming pool yourself, for which clear instructions are available. The pool complies with French safety legislation.
Electric charging is possible in Ussel at 30 km including at Leclerc, "Correze Automobiles", a little further McDonald 47/kWh - 58/kWh (12/2024). Use VISA is fine, I use ANWB Charge Card.
Upon arrival, the caretaker will accompany you to show you the inside of the house. We will welcome you by phone the day after your arrival, and will be happy to help you on your way so that everything is clear. This way you can enjoy this charming part of France without any worries.
The house has a characteristic dining room with wood stove in the fireplace and a sitting area. Sitting room with spacious sitting area, 2-person sofa, and sliding doors to one of the terraces. The mezzanine (an open mezzanine) above the sitting room is a nice children's play area and there are mattresses for a possible 6th bed. Two quiet bedrooms on the first floor (1x2p bed, 3x1p bed), 2 bathrooms, walk-in shower. Complete kitchen with 4-burner stove, oven, fridge with freezer, kettle, coffee maker; washing machine in separate room; practical but without great luxury.
This holiday home is a wonderful starting point for tours along volcanoes, craters, barrages and castles. You can canoe on the Dordogne, fish, cycle, mountain bike and hike with beautiful viewpoints. This lovingly furnished gîte has fast FIBER OPTIC WIFI and is practically furnished for pleasant holidays in an authentic environment, outside mass tourism.
