HOLIDAY PARK DOMAINE LES RIVES DE L'ARDECHE The Domaine Les Rives de l'Ardeche is located directly on the River L'Ardeche and on the edge of Vallon Pont d'Arc. This place is particularly known for the 66 meter high, natural arch of the Pont d'Arc. Along the river are also several beaches where you can sunbathe or stop during canoeing. The historic center of Vallon Pont d'Arc is 3 minutes from the park. Here you will find cozy restaurants and picturesque cafes. Playground equipment, a tennis court and a communal swimming pool are available at the park. Domaine Les Rives de l'Ardeche is therefore ideal to completely relax after a day full of sights in the area. Specifics: The swimming pool is open from 1 May to 30 September. Pets are on request at all times, if it is not requested in advance, access can be refused. Children's furniture is only available on request, please indicate when booking. The villa has free Wi-Fi. Free Wi-Fi is also available at reception. This holiday park is one of the Award winners 2016 (score in 2017 of 8.7!) Atmosphere and location The park is under Dutch management in the heart of Ardèche. The villas are located in the district of 'Les Mazes', near the river Ardèche (about 500 m). This district belongs to the place Vallon-Pont-d'Arc. The center of the characteristic Vallon-Pont-d'Arc is about 3 km away. Ruoms, a second historical site in the neighborhood is about 7 km from the park. There is a small supermarket about 1 km away. A little further is a larger supermarket, a bakery and greengrocer and in Ruoms and Vallon-Pont-d'Arc you will find numerous shops, bars, restaurants and terraces. In the surroundings of Vallon-Pont-d'Arc you can go canoeing, fishing, bowling (about 18 km), renting bicycles, horseback riding (about 12 km), walking and visiting many historic places. There is also a crocodile farm and the Haribo museum. Especially the two places La Baume (about 10 km) and Balazuc (about 12 km), which both belong to Les plus Beaux villages de France, you can not miss swimming and wellness The villa park has a communal pool (approx. 300 m²) with children's pool (about 50 m²). At the pool is a sun terrace with sun loungers and parasols and fitness equipment. The (non-heated) swimming pool is open from the end of April until the end of September. Swimming shorts are allowed. Sports and games There is a tennis court that you can use for free, a bowling alley and a small playground with a seesaw, a seesaw, fitness equipment, ping pong table and a slide. Eating and drinking At the Dutch reception you can get bread, and there is a friture (June to September). Convenience There are Dutch speaking staff present at the reception. Credit cards are accepted. There is free wifi internet at reception and in some villas. Smoking in the villas is not allowed. Arrival and departure You can stay on this villa park from 7 January to 30 December 2017. Arrival and departure are possible daily except Tuesday and Wednesday. The minimum stay is 5 nights. In the period from 1 July to 1 September 2017, the minimum stay is 7 nights. On the day of arrival you can enter the villa between 16.00 and 19.00. On the day of departure you have to leave the villa before 10 am. Final cleaning The final cleaning fee is mandatory and must be paid locally. Deposit A ??deposit applies. These must be paid on the spot by credit card (this is a pre-authorization, the amount is not debited). After departure you will receive this amount, with settlement of any costs still to be paid. Kitchen linen You can book kitchen towels and pay locally. This set consists of: two tea towels and a dishcloth. Bed linen There are duvets and pillows in the villas. Rent of bed linen with a weekly change is mandatory. Bath towels You can book a towel package and pay on site. This set consists of: a large and a small towel. Children's package The villa park has children's beds, baths, chairs and boxes. You can reserve a children's package or the parts separately by indicating this on booking and paying locally. Accessibility The terrain is fairly flat, however the villas have an upper floor and the bathrooms are equipped with bath or shower. There are no special wheelchair-friendly villas. Tourist tax The local government levies a tourist tax, payable locally. Pets Pets (max 1) are limited allowed (€). Only on request. Car and accessibility There is a parking space for at least two cars at the villa.
