This holiday home is quietly located next to a babbling stream in the village of Horni Kalna, about 5 kilometers south of the town of Vrchlabi, which rightly calls itself "The gateway to the Giant Mountains" due to its central location. An ideal environment for your summer and winter holidays. Because of the large garden, also ideal for children.

The house has a spacious terrace with garden furniture and an enclosed large garden with a large swimming pool (Ø 3.6 m), a large trampoline (Ø 3.6 m), a play area with swing and a barbecue. The house has been renovated and is comfortably and cozy furnished and equipped with a central heating system. The spacious living room is equipped with a sofa, dining area, color television, satellite receiver with Dutch channels, DVD and stereo with CD player. The kitchen is fully equipped with, among other things, a ceramic hob, dishwasher, combination microwave, kettle, coffee maker, fridge/freezer and dining area.

The bathroom has a bath, shower, toilet and 2-person sauna. The 3 spacious bedrooms with 2, 3 and 4 beds can accommodate 9 adults and 1 child (in a cot). In addition, there is even a separate large playroom (36m2!!) for the children with table tennis table, billiards, shuffleboard and sofa. There is an extra toilet on the top floor. You also have access to a washing machine, a dryer, a high chair and WIFI internet.

Parking for 2 cars directly at the house. Due to its central location, this is an ideal place to explore the Giant Mountains and the Czech paradise. Beautiful ski slopes for families with children and beginners at 7 km!!!. 2 km away are the slopes for advanced skiers. Many scheduled services also depart from Vrchlabi to various locations (even to the house, bus stop on the other side of the road). Prague is 120 km away and can be reached in about 2 hours by car. In short, an ideal environment, both in summer and winter!!!!

We have been privately renting out our holiday homes in the Giant Mountains in the Czech Republic since 2002. We live 4 km from the holiday home, so if problems arise, we are nearby for help. We also speak the Czech language, which is easy here!!

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

The reservation costs are 40 euros per booking. A contribution of € 40 is requested per stay for the final cleaning. Not included are the consumption of electricity, for which 4.0 Kc per kWh is charged for electricity. In winter, 1000 Kc of energy consumption is included in the rental price.

At 250 meters from the house is the local village shop where you can do the daily shopping. The house is newly renovated and comfortably and attractively furnished and equipped with central heating. The spacious living room is furnished with a sofa, dining area, color television, VCR, satellite receiver, DVD and stereo with CD player. The kitchen is fully equipped including stove with oven, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge / freezer and dining area. The recently renovated bathroom has a bath, shower, toilet, bidet and 2-person sauna. In the 3 large bedrooms with 2, 3 and 4 beds up to 9 adults and 1 child (cot) be housed. All ski areas in the valley of the Elbe (Labe Udoli) are located within a distance of 19 kilometers. All of 6 kilometers is a beautiful area for beginners and families with children (ski center Vrchlabi, Knežický vrch) with three lifts. A little further is the great ski resort Herlikovice (8 km) where several ski lifts (also at run evening). One of the elevators take you to the top where a few long runs begin by blue, red and black runs. Or you can go to the sunny town Benecko (12 km) or the ski area Strazne (11 km). In all these areas, ski school, ski rental shops and several food and beverage outlets aanwezig.Het largest ski resort in the Czech Republic (Spindleruv Mlyn) is just 19 km away. As for winter sports: cross-country ski area in Vrchlabi, ski area Vrchlabi, ski area Herlikovice, Ski area Cerna hora, ski area Spindleruv Mlyn. snowtubbing, tobogganing, etc etc. Or how about cross-country skiing directly from the house and create your "own" way???
