The holiday residence (with 2 apartments) is located in Bohan sur Semois, a typical Ardennes village in the valley of the Semois belonging to the municipality of Vresse sur Semois.
A stone's throw from the French grans (2 km) you will be surrounded by beautiful nature. In the hospitable center of the village you can enjoy the numerous cafes and restaurants. The inner man can also be strengthened in the local supermarket, and at the numerous butchers and bakers.
The Semois, which flows right in front of the holiday home, is a fisherman's paradise and various walks depart from the village.
A few kilometers further on the French territory there is the possibility of sailing and windsurfing.
During a canoe trip from Alle (18 km) or from Vresse (11 km) to Bohan you can admire nature in all its splendour.
Cross-country skiing trails are available under a snowy landscape during the winter.
During the summer holidays, various events are organized by the tourist office of Vresse and the sub-municipalities, the second-hand markets, fairs, fireworks, riding school parties, etc. are attended by many tourists.
Sedan and Charleville-Meziers are the larger cities in the north of France, where shopping is more than worthwhile and you can also visit one of the largest castles in Europe in Sedan as well as watch a football match in the higher French department. Reims and the champagne route are also not that far away.
Did you know that Bohan is the only place in Belgium where Champenois, the regional language of Champagne, is spoken, the rest of the province is Walloon-speaking. Tobacco cultivation and manufacturing used to occur in Bohan. You can also see some old drying sheds in the area.
