The chalet is located on Domaines des Nobertins, a forest park that consists entirely of forest plots, of which only 1/3 of the plots are built on with small-scale chalets. Animals and birds have free play in the forest and are also abundantly present and often visible. This makes it a unique piece of forest where you can stay all year round with a great eye for nature and lots of privacy on the forest plots.

The chalet itself is located in one of the most beautiful places because it is built against the hill in a relatively open area towards the south. As a result, there is a lot of (sun) light on the site, but the character of a real forest plot is preserved.

The chalets of the neighbors cannot be seen or heard from the forest plot and gives the chalet a real feeling of complete freedom.

The Domaines des Nobertins has existed since the 1970s and the character of a forest park has remained intact. The surrounding forests and villages invite you for beautiful walks, riding mountain bike trails and visits to the many sights in the region.

The area surrounding the forest park is part of the Parc naturel Viroin-Hermeton, which is an official nature park in Wallonia. The Domaines des Nobertins is located almost against the Belgian / French border, if you leave the park in a southerly direction you walk directly into France.

Nearby towns such as the French Fumay and Givet offer restaurants and shops and are located on the river De Maas.

It is a quiet part of Wallonia, but that does not mean that there is nothing to do. On the contrary, there are several castles to visit, Givet has an indoor small-scale aqua park, and Treignes has a steam railway museum where regular journeys are made with authentic steam trains through the landscape between Marienbourg and Treignes.
