The house was built to modern standards in terms of insulation, etc.
But the exterior is traditionally Ardennes.
The layout is as follows:
- At the bottom: a cellar.
- Ground floor: garage, sas, living room, kitchen, cool storage room, hall, toilet, bathroom 1, meter cupboard / laundry room.
- First floor: landing, three bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with toilet.
- Second floor: mansard with double bed, attic.
The bedroom floors consist of solid oak planks.
The concrete stairs are covered with bluestone which makes them very quiet,:-).
The house is ideally located as a base for hiking, mountain biking and exploring other Ardennes locations.
The garden is spacious and almost flat, which makes ball games pleasant.
There is a nice terrace as well as a beautiful young oak tree at the back of the garden under which it is wonderful to relax in the summer.
Parking for 2 to 3 cars, provided behind the house.
