We also call it our 'cabin in the woods' because that's all you see from this house: the forest. You park your car at the top and descend some stairs into nature. We love being outside, enjoying life, relaxing and some luxury on holiday.
Since the renovation of the ground floor in 2019, the new kitchen is equipped with a combi oven, dishwasher and an extra (Nespresso) coffee machine. The toilet is separate from the bathroom. A spacious built-in wardrobe has been made on the top floor. Furthermore, the house has central heating and the terrace has been renovated, enlarged and equipped with a lockable gate.
The sleeping quarters will be renovated in November 2021. In addition to a warm wooden floor, new lighting and extra sockets in the custom-made bedboards in the bedroom, the sleeping area on the landing has been fitted with a new bed.
The 5 beds have excellent mattresses, so that a good night's sleep is guaranteed. Who doesn't want to wake up in the middle of greenery?
The park has a swimming pool, tennis court, ping pong tables and various playgrounds. Various walks can be made from the A-Frame. Or you can go out on a mountain bike to discover the area. In the summer we recommend kayaking or swimming in the Ourthe, playing golf in the area or having fun in the Adventure Valley, where you can climb and abseil, among other things.
And Durbuy ... will surprise you with many cozy terraces, nice restaurants in the area and cozy shops.
Good to know:
In connection with corona measures, it is good to take the following into account:
- Eating at the restaurant at the park? Use take out.
- We kindly ask you to follow the Belgian corona measures. Current information about this is known at the reception at the park.
- Please note that the opening hours or accessibility of restaurants, attractions or locations, etc., are also different in the Durbuy area than before. It is good to inform yourself about this before you set off.
