Domaine l'Ecureuil (= Squirrel) is by the Smiths bought in 1997. We have found the peace and tranquility which we were accustomed in the tropics. Our family consists of 3 families of the 2 sisters and 1 brother and grandma SMIT. Together we take "projects" to. Every year there is some improvement. That could be anything, including trees. Sometimes the new planting a name. We have Bartje, a spar in the early care needed and named after the kitten from day 1 with the bottle fed. The domaine is 20 hectares and consists of forests, meadows, parks and a cave located in a loop along the Ourthe. A tour domaine is 1 hour walk. We belong to the municipality of Durbuy, known as the smallest city in the world of flowers. In Bohon, 0.8 km is a tropical paradise. The surroundings are beautiful. You can go walking, visiting towns, canoeing, mountain biking. Deer, boars, squirrels, the eagle owl (special uilsoort) and other beautiful birds houses on the site. The accommodation is well furnished. There is a radio & CD player and no TV. Very convenient for those who love peace and quiet and go out there every day. Because we do not always, you are received by an administrator.

The daily series Spangas, a series for youth broadcast by Zapp, a feature film made almost in its entirety on our Domaine is gefilm. The crew has spent 3 months. Some pictures are available on our site (*CONTENT HIDDEN*)-ecureuil.nl found.

The Smiths have bought the estate Domaine Ecureuil (= Squirrel) in 1997 and found the peace and tranquility that they were used from the tropics. It is our place for the family. The family consists of 3 families and grandma Smit. Together they tackle various projects annually; these projects relate to everything, including the planting.

Additional information

Living room with open kitchen (30m2) has a nice atmosphere. The room faces south and has a pleasant light. The terrace is just beside the home. The house looks out over the park and on the other side over the wmeadow. De house is in a complex with other houses.

The kitchen is fully equipped and spacious, with fridge, magetron, oven, coffee maker and 4-burner stove. One the side of the kitchen the windows overlook the rear of the property.

The bathroom has a shower, sink and bathroom and a toilet.De windows overlooking the lawn behind the house.

The house has 2 bedrooms. One with a 2-bed and and the other with 2 single beds.

This picture was taken from the living room. With three steps you descend to the terrace, The terrace is surrounded by a lawn and is overlooking the meadow and the park.Plenty of sun. If you want shade, you should lookng for a tree or go under the parasol. The hedge provides for the separation with the neighbors.

You can see from the window: a view of the park. On the other side looks out over the meadow, on the back of the forest

near you with a group riding. Here the horses are going overour domain.

We have space for 16 people. For the main part, we make a chapiteax 'where you are all free to use. This option is available in May, June, late August and September. Inquire about the possibilities with me.

In combination with other accommodations can hire a group of up to 20 people.
