cabin / lodge, Herselt, Antwerp, Belgium - The Forest Hut
The Forest Hut with the attached sauna on the right. The window at the top is the window near the sleeping loft.

To the left the laundry corner with sink. In the mysterious chest are blankets and bedding for the sofa bed and the stairs go to the sleeping loft.

You can see this when you enter and look to the left. The kitchen, dining area and on the right in the kitchen you see the door to the bathroom/toilet.

Living room seen from the kitchen. With the wood stove on the right in the photo. Of course there is also a gas-fired central heating system for cold days.
Living room with 4-person sofa where you can also make a lovely sofa bed for 1 person.
The kitchen with a Spanish gas stove and gas oven. Washing up has to be done by hand because we like to pollute as little as possible.

From the hammock
The Black Water 5 minutes walk from the house. Breeding ground for many water birds and an oasis of peace.
When night falls you can enjoy stargazing.
It is summer and the forest is full of greenery. This is how you drive to our cottage.
