Our beautiful authentic renovated barn is not only pleasing to the eye but also zaaaaaaalig to unwind! From the barn you can view on the large garden with teak table, chairs and sun loungers!
The Kempen is still very authentic and invites you to get off something for everyone!
The home is in the village Malle located, which is very central in the Kempen is! You can perfectly start from the barn to walking, cycling, swimming or an outing to Antwerp or one of the great provincial towns in the area such Lier, Herentals, Turnhout, Hoogstraten where you can taste all the local delicacies and where you are overwhelmed by nice terraces! The beguinages are all gems where you live earlier in the Kempen still can feel! On the other side lies the castle and the park The Renesse. The park is a good starting point for short and long walks.
The home is different to cycling, but also multiple routes such as the beautiful Trappist route that passes the famous Trappist abbey of Westmalle carries.
Also along the Canal is very nice and quiet to ride.
Just a stone's throw Lilse the Mountains in the middle of the woods with a lovely sandy beach and a delicious bathing in the summer! The water flows gently, so even for small children, this is a true paradise! It is also blissfully walking and cycling. There is a large playground for children and you pay a few dollars entrance.
The recreation area on the border with Breebos Rijkevorsel / Merksplas is very nice with or without children. You can also sunbathe on the beach under the trees or just lie down and take a dip in the water. The water is less beautiful than in the Lilse Mountains, but you will find various shops and a nice playground for children.
The Ageing in Mol is very beautiful: crystal clear water to a pure white sandy beach! Blessed for swimming in warmer days! Also very nice with (or without) children!
Larger indoor and outdoor swimming pools with lots of nice extras you'll find in Lier, Brasschaat and Herentals (also Hidrodoe - fun for children and for yourself)!
For those of forests takes is a visit to the 's Heerenbos in Malle (foot go through the castle on a 400 m from the house lies the Zoer Sels Forest (a thick 10 km), the Kasterlee Woods, St. Job Brasschaat ... highly recommended.
On the River Nete that runs through the beautiful city of Lier (Lier, Bruges is rightly called the Antwerp Kempen) you can also kayak.
On the Canal during the summer boat trips!
In Ranst (a small 20 km) you can also water ski!
And of course there is also the rGalgenweel in Antwerp where all the summer courses organized by sailing!
During the month of August, once a week evening at the Domaine de Renesse Malle in a free music concert organized! This is always a hit! In other suburbs, there are weekly free concerts in July and / or August! Music lovers are so everyday free their money as they want!

A visit to Antwerp anyway is almost a must if you stay in Malle! The oh-so-coveted city on the Scheldt is a half hour drive and you can shop to your hearts content, doing outdoor cafes, fine dining, museums, markets and visit the cathedral of course do not forget! You'll find great works of Belgian artists!
For the real fans are the European cities Brussels and the beautiful city of Ghent, an hour away!
For whom the border Belgium - The Netherlands wants to feel and see is a visit to the picturesque town of Baarle-Hertog / Nassau Baarle-very nice!
