Denenhof is a converted farmhouse in the Kempen region of Antwerp.

The building is located on a plot of 37 ares. The holiday home is part of this building and is completely self-contained with its own garden and private parking. The holiday home is available for max. 6 people. 

We, the owners Lief and Ronny,  live in the other part of the building.
(By appointment, the rest of the site is also accessible, as well as the outdoor swimming pool of 4 by 8 meters, but only in the summer months.)

From our accommodation you can walk straight into the nature of the Provincial Green Domain Hertberg, owned by the prince 'de Merode' until 2004. The prince then sold his extensive forest area to the surrounding municipalities who preserved it as a whole, across the  municipal boundaries.

In this way, the 'noble' territory continued to exist.  The Prince 'de Merode'  himself still resides  in his castle in Westerlo, along the Grote Nete. This castle itself is only exceptionally accessible, but in the 'landscape park de Merode' it is now beautiful for walking, cycling, mountain biking, horseback riding.

You can also visit 2 abbeys, namely the ABBEY OF AVERBODE and the ABBEY OF TONGERLO.

In the vicinity (30 min. by car) you can also visit smaller cities such as DIEST, GEEL, AARSCHOT. Amusement park BOBBEJAANLAND is also located at a similar distance. At a slightly further distance (40 min.) you will find the provincial cities such as HASSELT, LEUVEN and MECHELEN.

BRUSSELS and ANTWERP are also easily accessible, either by car or by train. Every year, we also host guests who like to visit the music festivals of WERCHTER or GRASPOP.

So there's something for everyone and we haven't even mentioned the FRITURES and BELGIAN BEERS;)

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

If, for whatever reason, the tenant is unable or unwilling to accept the rented property on the agreed date, he must inform the landlord immediately. A notification of this by telephone must always be confirmed in writing or by emailto the landlord.

If the tenant cancels the agreement in the period up to 1 month before the start date of the rental period, he will still owe 0% of the rent; In case of cancellation in the month prior to the start date, 25% of the rent remains due.
